I love this 99 store. There’s plenty of dollar items as well as higher priced items. I mostly go here for the craft and make up section. I have found so many amazing craft supplies that I would otherwise find somewhere else for over double the price. I also love the selection of Nabi and NYX cosmetics. they also carry OPI nail polish, probably for a little less then you’d pay at Ulta. FYI, if you have kids, it’s probably best to leave them at home or make sure you have a stroller with you. It’s pretty clear when you’re there you better have them attached to your side until you leave. :)

This afternoon, I discovered The Best Dollar Store I’ve Ever Been In™ Seriously. I am not kidding. It was AMAZING. Two feet(i.e., mine) into the store, I was instantly and totally INLOVE!!! Let me run down its awesomesauce features: 1. It is immaculate — you know how most DS — at least the ones I’ve been in — are kinda run down and messy-looking? This one was pristine. Although the store was stocked to the gills, everything had a place and every piece of merchandise was in that place. Amazing. 2. It is insanely organized — as I said above, everything is in its place, but everything is almost obsessively labelled so that you know exactly what is 99¢, and what is over that amount. Everywhere you looked were tiny signs written in a tiny, perfect hand listing what was on the shelves and what it did, where things were, and how much you could save if you bought this item. Amazing x 2. 3. It has THEMOSTAWESOME merchandise I have ever seen in a 99¢ store. Everything from the usual knicknacks and health/beauty supplies, but with loads of different makeup, clothing, professional hairdressing supplies, hardware items, housewares, and everything in between. There were loads of awesome belts for $ 2, which I’m kicking myself I didn’t buy! Check out this post to see some of the stuff I bought: One could easily spend an afternoon perusing its super clean and organized aisles, and if you come out of here empty-handed, you weren’t really looking for anything in the first place.
