Been to a few nursing homes for Mom — and some are just flat out depressing. No one wants to leave home but when it is the only option, North Valley is a great option to have. The staff is what makes this place so great. They do a wonderful job working with the family and are genuinely concerned with their residents/​patients care. Thank you so much North Valley.

Nurses were knowledgeable enough to take care of their patients, never in a hussle. Explained every medication the way doctors should tell. Discharge paperwork explained well. Felt all staff cared and loved for the patient. Caring, pleasant staff, especially the administrator who helps the staff and the patient knowledgable to do thier share of work. And they always wear a smile that will make everyone, patient or family member, feel comfortable with the nursing home. They really demonstrate the meaning of a true home, love and family.

I’ve never seen such a caring facility. The staff especially the nurses as well as CMAs are so warm and kind hearted to their patients. They are well trained and knowledgeable on their jobs and does their work carefully and diligently. Its just like each patient as their own. I would highly recommend this facility to everyone. Its worthwhile bringing your loved ones who needs care to this place — NORTH VALLEY NURSING CENTER

DONT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES TO THIS FACILITY. The staff members are seasoned fraud artists. They fabricate numbers and data to show DHS surveyors that their patients are in tip top shape. Except for the CNA’s, the rest of the staff members are Licensed in a third world country with no American sociology, poor communication and terrible patient care standards. The CNA’s will take the patient’s vital signs and totally change the numbers to show that patient is hemodynamically stable. From the administrator to their nurse coordinator (the girl with tattoos all over) to the RN’s who constantly gather at the nurses station chatting about adobo and karaōke, there is not one personnel who is worthy of a pat on the back. Stay away from this place and please don’t send your family members here. Thank you.

My Father Vinit Chotirawi was here for 2 and ½ years until he passed. When I first saw the place from the outside; I thought GHETTO and oh no! what have I done since I made the arrangements from Fresno. After the first week until the very end it was the best decision I ever made. The nurses are beyond caring. He never had to wait to be changed and he always felt cared for when our family was not there. The staff is unbelievable. I barely heard anyone of the patients screaming for help or care because someone was always there with them. They inform me of every single change for my dad’s orders. I especially appreciate Nancy who mostly cared for my dad and Madeline. To every single person that helped my father: all the CNA’s, nurses, administrators. I will forever be grateful.
So will my dad in heaven.
