Whataburger

I used to go to this joint pretty often, it wasn’t until yesterday that I decided NEVER AGAIN. The guy running the window was cool but the food was disgusting. I got home and it was super cold and the fries tasted pretty stale… I only have a 5 ish minute ride home so that was ridiculous. Any who I warmed it up because I’m not difficult, and it was ok. It wasn’t until I woke up at 2 am with intense diarrhea and vomiting. As I write this I got body aches, headache etc… This happened to a couple of my buddies and I thought they were being dramatic. Unfortunately I’ll never visit that location or what-​a-​burger again. As it left a bad taste. Lol

They are lucky to get 1Star I’ve always been scared to eat at this place and I see WHY. Should have definitely stuck with my first mine this place is GROSS!!! Burger was COLD and made me sick!!! Sooo disgusting

Food was cold and over dressed. Fries were cold and the service very slow took 15 mins for cold food.

I love Whataburger, however this location is too cluttered and small for my taste. When I visit my father on the south side we prefer the Whataburger on Valencia and 12^th since it’s larger and newer. Not to say the food or service is bad, but it clear that this Whataburger was one of the first in Tucson. I also don’t like that the bathrooms are outside of the actual restaurant and you have to ask for a key. Again, this is something seen in older Whataburger’s, however it’s something that the wife and I don’t like. Overall, if you want Whataburger in the south side make the drive to the one on Valencia.

THE best fast food burger/​fry/​shake joint hands down. Never heard of them until I moved to Tucson, but my husband has been obsessed with them for decades (he comes from TX, NM). Yes, it IS fast food… but for some reason it tastes fresher than your typical fast food burger joints.
The Whataburger with cheese is mouth watering and their fries… yes their fries are the best around. I have never done anything here but a combo #1 with cheese (sometimes extra cheese) and that is my go to.
Couple of tips — if you do the shake, get the Jr. size otherwise you get this 32 oz size shake which is insane. Also — if you want double, triple, quadruple meat — they will do it! This dude ordered 10 patties while we were there… he was trying to beat some personal record.
Whataburger is the bomb… this particular location — for whatever reason — is the best in Tucson.

I have been using this place for breakfast and lunch for like 6 months… they are always ready and willing to make a great meal exactly when asked to!
