This event was even better than I expected it to be… and I was pretty excited up front. I got tickets compliments of Unilocal and Corey D.(thank you thank you thank you), which made it that much more fun… but given all of the high-quality food and beverage samples, plus activities, I would totally pay to attend next year. The weather was beautiful(nice job, Unilocal and Ventana Canyon, for arranging that). There was a big outside patio, filled with lots of little stands, offering tasty morsels. Also an inside area to go when you needed to sit or cool down. The food was TASTY. Mac and cheese throw down, taco throw down, hot dog throw down, pancake throw down, brisket throw down… it just went on and on. I loved the little beer and cocktail samples sprinkled around the patio too… gave things a very festive feel. I went with my friend Carrie and her three kids. Between the kids’ cooking demonstrations, pumpkin decorating, and cupcake decorating, they always had something to keep them entertained… not an easy task. The best little Sunday afternoon. I rolled out of there full and happy. Top marks go to Pasco, for their sliders — blue cheese, bacon, and chipotle. Did I mention the food was TASTY?
