Joel Thompson is one of those doctors who combines warmth, compassion, efficiency, and great skill. If you have wrist, hand, or shoulder problems, he is is the man you want to see. I was extremely lucky that an ER nurse suggested his practice when I was in with a broken wrist. No doctor I know of actually has a magic wand, so I look for the other qualities I mentioned and have not been disappointed.
The only problem is that in the new office on Oracle, the assistants who do X-ray and etc. were impatient and dismissive. I didn’t find that to be the case at the original office on Camp Lowell. I hope the staff will step up and be as good as their doctor!
