Over the years I’ve had several eye exams here, bought some contact lenses, two or three pairs of glasses, and prescription sunglasses. And I’ve always been happy. What really makes it a 5-​star operation, though, is the helpfulness of the staff. I recently brought in my regular glasses and sunglasses both for missing screws and popped-​out lenses. Both are a couple years old and have lately seemed to come apart on the order of once a month. The woman who works in the front of the store replaced the screws. And then she told me that if this is a regular problem, she could apply some kind of light adhesive to the inside of the frames that helps prevent them from popping apart, if I could leave my glasses there for a few hours. I did, and returned the next day, and am quite pleased with the result. All free of charge.
This wasn’t the first time I’ve taken my glasses in there with a problem like this. A year or two back, my regular glasses had lost a screw and come apart and she told me that since they still stocked that frame, she could just replace it entirely. And when I first got these frames, she spent quite a while with me over several days trying to find the right adjustment when I was having issues.
This isn’t just a get-​your-​glasses-​and-​go place. They genuinely care about your long-​term satisfaction as a customer.
