The people that work here are just amazing! They are so nice, and I loved coming! I have been looking for Thrifty ice-Cream in Tucson for a couple years now, and then I found Lucky J’s! The ice-cream here is phenomenal and the price is unbeatable! Its very nice to come into the store on a very hot and sunny day to refresh yourself with Thrifty Ice-Cream! Lucky J’s doesn’t only sell Ice-Cream, they are also a convenient store just like QT, or Circle K. I really like the prices that they have, I haven’t seen it get much better than the prices they have! I recommend going here for anyone who likes great service, delicious Ice-Cream, and great prices!

It is true! A place that sells all the flavors of Thrifty ice cream. What a rare find in Tucson. The person working there told me the ice cream is only shipped once a month so I stocked up on my favorite — chocolate malt crunch. The only con is that a half gallon is $ 6.89 which is a bit more than other brands but well worth it if it’s your favorite ice cream!

The customer service here is FANTASTIC! Really nice people, and serve extremely good Thrifty Ice Cream! I’ve been trying to find Thrifty Ice cream around Tucson, and this is by far the best place to go if you want to leave with a smile :) Not only does the store sell great thrifty ice cream, the rest of the store is stuffed with tons of snacks and drinks, and pretty much anything you could imagine that would belong in a convenient store! I definitely recommend this to whoever likes friendly customer service, and GREAT Thrifty Ice Cream! :)

This is my go to place for filling up my propane tank and to get Thrifty’s Ice Cream. They also have Eee Gee’s here. This is a typical convenience store with a few untypical items. The owners are nice and always recognize me. As a matter of fact, they always ask me if I want ice cream or remark that it’s been awhile since I got ice cream. Their ice cream prices hasn’t changed, at least for the last three years that I’ve lived here.

It’s all about the Thrifty Ice Cream! Passed this placed countless times and never been tempted to go in. Seriously not where I would want to go for my convenience shopping. But when I realized they have Thrifty here with the squarish shaped ice cream server that I remember from my youth, I so had to go! Had some nice cookies and cream in a cone. Yummy! As for the rest of the store, you got your snacks, disposable hookahs(huh?), Boone’s wine, and whatever else you need. I think it has Eegees in here too as they have a sign out front.

This is my source for Thrifty’s ice cream. They sell single, double and triple scoops in a cup or cone and quarts. Since it’s right across the intersection from Casa de los Ninos Thrift store, I get Thrifty’s after leaving the thrift store. The owners have always been very courteous. This market reminds me of being a kid and the magic all the unusual candy you’d never see at the grocery store. I like this place, although it’s a bit on the rough side. Meaning I buy my ice cream and get out of dodge.

Went in here today to try out some Thrifty’s ice cream. Delicious! Also it cost $ 1.88 for a single(pretty large) scoop. That seems like a pretty awesome deal to me. I’d never been in here before, maybe because it looked a little run down from the outside and I usually associate that with a shady interior. That however is not at all how it was. It also looks like they sell Eegees, along with some other fun novelties and all the normal convenience store items. I can’t believe it took me till today to try some ice cream!
