This dog park is a hidden gem of the city. Grass, lighting, doggy-sized water fountains and a separate section for smaller breeds. My basset hound enjoyed herself and so did I! Everyone has to live somewhere and while the neighborhood looks sketchy to outsiders, the park is full of kids playing basketball, climbing on the playground fort, and dog lovers chatting as their four-legged best friends get some exercise and socialization. Community comes in many different forms and this park radiates it.

I am so confused about this park. The grass is so green and beautiful and the scenery to the north is gorgeous. But theres always shady stuff going on. I’m pretty sure the last time i went, a group was shooting up at the table in the corner. I don’t feel safe here at all which is a shame. I’ve never seen anyone else at the dog park either. I’m always nervous about needles in the grass… too bad.

They provide the coolest poop scoopers here! The grass is awesome, too! Just wish more people knew about this place. The views are great, as long as you’re not looking around at the neighborhood it’s in: P though the children’s park near by gets lots of action!

This is a fairly new dog park that opened just of La Cholla at a small park. We really enjoy this park with our dogs. Unlike most parks in the area it actually has well kept grass and they recently planted a number of trees which should provide wonderful shade by next year. The park is well maintained and since few people seem to have found it, relatively quiet and peaceful. Our dogs love going there to romp in the grass. What’s even better is that our white Cockapoo stays white! So many of the dog parks in the area are just dusty fields with no grass or if they have grass they are infested with all sorts of weeds that cling to the dog’s coat. This place is immaculate! Certainly worth a trip!
