I love me some eegees. June’s flavour is my favorite: Mango! Sandwiches are also great, especially when you are hungry and want a fast cheap lunch. Their«slushies» are definitely my favorite, and although they are too sweet for me, I normally cut it with some unsweetened tea to bring down the sugar level.

Went through the drive through and ordered 11 eegees and it was all ready to go as soon as we paid. Tyler was very nice and patient with us(the person ordering forgot his hearing aid!). We didn’t go inside but from what I could see everything was clean.

The food at this establishment sounds and looks amazing, but when you open your bag… you are let down overtime. Pastrami — Lo grade cut meat that is microwaved and cheese is placed on top. The cheese wasn’t even melted on the sandwich. The sandwich was a little weak. Hot Dog Mac n Cheese — This looks like it would be heaven in a box and it again was just over cooked hot dogs, sliced and placed on top of so-so mac. Even blue box mac n cheese is creamier than this. The Eegee Pina Colada — Lime mix — This was a delicious mixture of flavors that mold well together. Easily the best thing I ordered. The sizing is crazy though. Medium was a standard large at other chains.

The slushies(«Eegees» they serve here are awesome. There’s a flavor of the month(July is watermelon month!) and four all-year flavors. They also serve sandwiches, which are not particularly great.

They used to be a 5 star and now thier barely 1 star. We went yesrterday thru the drive thru & out of our 5 items we ordered, they did not complete 1 of the items correctly! I dont understand how they read it back to us correctly and then when they gave our order to us… 1 by 1 we kept having to correct them & even just asked for our money back bcz it was riduculously frustrating! We watched them prepare our order and the staff were giving each other massages right by the drive thru window!!! They gave us a cookie of the month that was already opened & it appeared to have a bite taken out of it too! We drove by 2 other closer locations to visit here because of its customer service and accuracy of completing orders. Now we know otherwise… We shall never go out of our way or even stop here to satisfy our local Eegees cravings. Thank you to the team that worked the lunch shift on 8÷1÷2015 at Oracle & Orange Grove location for ensuring a few loyal/lifetime customers never return again!

I had to say my order like 5 times before they repeated it back correctly. And even then they still didn’t put it on wheat and smothered it in nasty mayo. Now I remember why I don’t come here.

Grinders, not subs. Much better than Subway…

There are a lot of things I like about Eegge’s! Fast food that isn’t all fried, heavy and fattening. There’s a drive thru, why don’t more sandwich shops offer this? The convenience of getting something relatively healthy, fast and at a drive thru, makes this place great! The food is good too! They are very generous with the meat on their sandwiches and other toppings. They are accommodating when special requests are made for a sandwich. And the food is always so fresh and delicious!

Decent customer service, tasty food, reasonable prices, and since their slushie thingy has fruit in it, I can convince myself that it’s healthy.

Eegee’s serves the most amazing shaved ice drinks(eegee’s), that are cheap and tasty. They serve lemon, strawberry, and piña colada flavors every month, but also throw in a new flavor every month. You can also mix the different flavors together for free. The sandwiches are very tasty as well, though obviously not the main attraction. There are various types of sandwiches you can get and can choose whether to have it «sub», «grinder», or «d-lite» style. I’ve always liked the BLT grinder with ranch fries on the side. Also, the employees should realize that people will go to the counter when they’re ready to order. If I’m standing five feet away and obviously reading the menu, please stop continuously asking me if I’m ready to order.

So delicious. Im moving out of town – and out of state – soon and the thing Ill miss most isn’t my family, or my pets… its Eegee’s. If I had to choose between never eating hot fries from Eegees or dying a painful death Id say it was worth it, and order large friends to go with my strawberry and lemon eegee.

I was born in Tucson and haven’t been back in 17 years… but I remember Eegees from my childhood! Of course I had to stop by and try it out again. Just like when I was 12, they were delicious :) I got the strawberry and piña colada eegee and also tried the club sandwich. As far as sandwiches go they need help… I just have so many delicious sandwich places from San Diego that I’m mentally comparing them too… sorry. if I visit again I will definitely only be stopping in for the eegee and the best part… THERANCHFRIES! I don’t know what it is about those fries… I swear they look just like a bag of the frozen crinkle kind that you can get at the grocery store… except they are really really good! so weird… Anyway, thank you eegees for staying consistent and delicious all these years.

Latest T-town trip I needed an Eegee drink and fries with ranch before heading back to California. This store was one of the last spotted before heading onto I-10W. Über friendly service… probably the happiest people I’ve ever met working in the quick food biz, especially one young man. He seriously earns 5 stars for his attitude alone. This Eegee’s was also one of the cleanest I have ever seen. Maybe it’s new? Food & drink is what you have come to expect(& hopefully love) from Eegee’s.

Maybe it’s because I’m not a Tucson native and so the nostalgia factor isn’t there, but Eegees kinda fell short for me. I got an 8 inch original grinder or whatever it’s called, and a large fries. Turns out the fries here are the cheap stuff that you can get from a grocery store and bake yourself. I was under the impression they were in-house proprietary sorta like In-N-Out or even Mcdonalds(ew), judging from all the accolades. Major bummer there. I’ll give a point for the fact that they were prepared just right. The sandwich was ok, but I have had better. It just happened to be wayyyy too salty. I don’t think they’d take my advice into consideration but adding some extra lettuce or something might balance out the flavors better. Anyways, food aside, service was good and the location was relatively clean, plus I believe this location has free wifi that I did not use. I guess I would try this again if I happened to be starving and near a location, but I would not go out of my way.

This is a newer Eeeges that replaced a Schlotzkys. The new pastrami sandwich 8 inch my friend ordered was delicious! And so was the vegetarian, packed down with tons of veggies(which you would expect!) including hot peppers and olives and they served it on a wheat roll by my request. We got out of there for under $ 10 with only sandwiches and two free cups of water! The Eegees was clean and efficient, and the food was brought out to us at our table. I live for Eegees cherry cider and root beer! This one has a drive-thru window as well.

So I am not native Tucson, therefore I do not really subscribe to the Eegee’s iconic worship it receives. But, I have enjoyed eating it. I have only used the drive thru at this one in particular. The staff was very nice and the service speedy. I usually just get a turkey grinder. You can’t go wrong there. And yes, I did the Ranch fries. The bacon bits are odd, but I dig it. Its ranch. Its fries. Its pieces of something tasting of bacon. It came from a drive-thru. How can I not dig it? I will say this though… **Takes a breath and anticipates the hate mail** I cannot stand the Eegee itself. I DONOTGETIT. Its a frozen sugar overload. Work has Eegees cater a lot and I have tried a few flavors. I just can’t like it though. I will respect the obsession of those who love it as one of those things that can only be loved due to nostalgia, but I will save my calories for the some other dessert treat.
