I had a similar experience as the others stated. When we moved in the place was not professionally cleaned, the previous owner had cleaned it, it was ok but not great. They do not protect tenants rights, they only care about what the owner wants. We ended up meeting the owner and he told us to go through him instead of Cobb for repairs. We were having issues with the sliding doors for our washer/dryer area. The owner had removed the doors and took them to «fix them» himself. He had them for several months and brought them back(still broken) a few days before we were to move out. Cobb charged us for repairing the doors. There was also a small spot in the master bath where the tile met the drywall where the paint had peeled. We always kept a dual curtain system and water never built up enough to cause paint chipping. We notified the owner of this issue months before our lease was up, but Cobb also charged us for this. It was part of normal wear and tear… We rented a previous place from them, the company they used to clean it after we moved out left all the screens off the windows, they unplugged the fridge and let the ice bin melt and water got all over the floor and the front of the stainless steel fridge, they removed the screen on the microwave(didn’t even know such a thing existed) and stole a retractable power cable from the garage roof. Cobb charged us for all of these things. Bottom line– go with someone else. Cobb is worthless. And Stacy is super ghetto…

This property management is unprofessional and unresponsive. I rented a lovely home which I like in an area I love. I paid 1st month’s rent and deposit FORTYFIVE days before taking possession with the understanding that they would address the safety issues in the backyard before I moved in with my toddler. They didn’t. It took weeks for them to clear out the debris from the backyard and to do the weeding, meanwhile the HOA wanted to fine me $ 50 for the weeds. The house was NOT professionally cleaned before we moved in. There was grease in the cabinets and the tile grout which was supposed to be a light tan was Black. Also the carpets LOOKED clean but as we walked on them they started weeping pet stains and we don’t have a pet. I have been in the house 60 days and the original property manager left, I can’t get anyone to answer my calls or call me back when they say they will. I finally went in person to the office yesterday where they said they would handle everything. The carpet guy called and set up an appointment for today and they cancelled it WITHOUTCONTACTINGME. Now they say too much time has elapsed and they won’t pay for it. Meanwhile, I still do not have proper walk through paperwork(she took notes on the back of gas receipts) or the pictures that she was supposed to take and our hot water went out today. The house I love but it is not worth the hassle of dealing with incompetent and unprofessional property management!

I usually do not do reviews good or bad, but this needs to be heard. I wouldn’t recommend Cobb to anyone. Go to BenCroft or TucsonRentalHomes. Cobb property management office associates are rude and are thieves. Me and my boyfriend together were not approved of a rental property we applied for, mind you our income together met the qualifications. We both had legit jobs and legit documentation and also gave the number and name of our employers. Bank statements and pay stubs. However, we still somehow were not approved??? Diane i believe her name is claimed we both separately have to qualify … Since when? And she did not tell us this from the start because if she did I would if never applied with him. It was a waste of $ 100. And the application never said it wasn’t non refundable I made sure I took pictures of the receipt and app but we were still told we could not get our money back. I truly feel in my heart it was a race issue and the fact that we are a young couple.(African American and Jamaican 19 and 21). But what pissed me off the most was the fact that we went through this process for almost a week and a half. Waste of time, gas, and money.

Cobb Realty is as good as it gets for property management in Tucson. As an owner, I’m very concerned with the care and upkeep of our extremely valuable investment. No matter what the problem, Cobb Realty has worked swiftly and diligently to rectify the situation. Yes, there have been minor issues. There are always issues that arise when you’re dealing with trusting someone to manage the house you own and then rent it to a tenant you don’t necessarily know. We own several rental properties across the country and I have vast experience with property management agencies. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, no rental property is completely without issues for the entire term of the lease agreement. Maintenance matters, rent concerns and other similar problems should always be planned for and even expected when investing in a rental property. That’s why they call it an «investment» and not just a «sure thing»… because there’s always a risk of something coming up. However, with Cobb, I can always count on them to make it right; even if that means they have to take a loss until they can settle the problem with us or our tenant. All matters have been addressed immediately by our property manager, Dannetta Owens. I have seldom found someone who can prioritize and provide such personal dedication to any situation. She has been amazing!!! If Dannetta can’t handle it immediately, I hear from the owner, Keith Cobb, within a matter of days. They genuinely provide a level of professionalism and customer service that’s rarely seen in today’s business world. If only all of our rental properties were located in Tucson and we could trust Cobb Realty to manage all of them so efficiently, maybe we could take some of the risk out of renting the other homes we own. If you want someone whom you can trust to take care of your investment as if it were their own, go with Cobb Realty.
