Sorry Cibo. I really appreciate airline food much more now. You’re really bringing down the good Boars Head name. I was hungry as I was waiting to catch an eastbound flight. I couldn’t decide between the Turkey Wrap($ 8.49) or the Turkey Sub($ 7.99). I went for the less expensive one which look OK all wrapped up in cellophane. I think it was the piece of lettuce which gave it the bad taste and possible odor. The wheat roll practically disintegrated upon touch. Crumbs all over the airport and a waste of $ 8. Even the turkey was tasteless. Save your money and purchase the food on the plane.

It happened today. The cashier was talking to her friend the entire time while she’s making the coffee, which is fine. just make me the coffee and I will be on my merry way, Hack! and I don’t care if the coffee is mediocre or even tasteless. but guess what? she didn’t even put the steamed milk in the cup… so a cup with espresso and foam was all we have here. Perhaps she forgot, or, intentionally didn’t pour the milk because we interrupted her conversation with her friend. I don’t even want to find out so I just leave the story as it is.

Rude cashier. Young female whose name starts with an A. Not a single customer was thanked and the cashier the line build up while she checked off an inventory list rather than check out the line of people who were trying to get to their gates. Said hello and she just glared. Should be in a different line of work if she doesn’t want to deal with people.

Thankfully our food options at the Tucson Airport are reasonable. The air isn’t thick with the smell of fried food and Cinnabon. I’m a last minute traveler, so ordering a fresh sammy for the same price as the pre-made one I grabbed from the fridge probably would’ve been a better choice, but time was not on my side. I grabbed an $ 8.00 turkey sandwich on oat bread with one piece of lettuce, one tomato, one slice of turkey and I’m not sure if there was cheese, but hey, it was quick and healthy, so I can’t complain. The rest of the CIBO express offerings include yogurts, hummus, salads, fruit packs, egg salads, tuna salad, Naked juices, fruit bars, and other seemingly healthy bites. For those literally on the go, this is certainly a great option to go with. I would like to see an area with napkins and cutlery for the on the go snack section instead of going up to another vendor to ask them for one of their cutlery packs. So, yes, I’m a fan!
