Bön is a wonderful shop and always top on my list to recommend for out of town visitors. The owners are so sweet and have incredible taste. We visit the shop when ever we get a chance or need the perfect gift. The Décor inside the shop is always inspiring. Best of Tucson

NOTKID-FRIENDLY! Wow, so I was really looking forward to checking out this store one morning after enjoying breakfast next door at Five Points(Excellent service, food &GREAT coffee!)) with my family. Unfortunately I never made past the first display table. Upon entering the store, my 6 year-old made a bee-line for a bowl full of beautiful, colored ornaments; his hands had just literally touched one and the owner/salesperson rushed over and interrupted me as I was reminding him that it was better to look rather than touch ornaments. She made no effort at all to be friendly or patient, but merely told him not to touch the ornaments, turned on her heel and walked away — which is what I proceeded to do after being treated so badly. Too bad, the store looks very unique and whimsical, but I will not be returning.

Magical and Whimsical definitely describe Bön. This lovely boutique has been in business for a long time and it’s run by a lovely mother and daughter team. Go there to find unique specialty items ranging from books to handmade jewelry, stationary, pillows, glassware and more. Make a morning of it and start with breakfast at the Five Points Market and then head two doors down to Bön and peruse this gorgeous gem!

Okay I know this isn’t going to be a popular review because Bön is an incredibly unique and cool little store in downtown Tucson(of which we need more). I went out of my way a few weeks ago to visit this store, which I follow on Insta and have heard SO much about from my friends. Unfortunately, my experience was upsetting. Let me start by saying that I brought my kids(6 and 15). They were quiet and respectful in the shop but they were treated so poorly by the saleswoman that it made us all feel VERY unwelcome.(I’m actually not sure if «saleswoman» is the best descriptor because after our experience with her, I didn’t want to buy ANYTHING.) My son was actually on some of the best behavior I’ve seen out of him in a while(he has autism and his behavior varies depending on the situation). But he got scolded within five minutes of arriving for sitting down on a sofa in the middle of the store that didn’t seem to have any signs saying that it was for display only. He didn’t make any noise or act like a typical six year old. He just sat down and was immediately scolded. Then my daughter, who actually has a job and money to spend, was running her fingers over something on a shelf and was snapped at loudly that«that’s for decoration only». When my son tried to ask the woman about a book he was interested in(about which he was pretty excited), she was rude to him and blew him off. It was so peculiar but my daughter left almost in tears because how rudely we were treated. At one point I asked if we were allowed to touch anything because it seemed like every time any of us laid a finger on anything, we were made to feel bad by the woman. We won’t be back. And I’m sad because it was such a gorgeous little shop and I can tell some love and attention was put into this place(hence the two stars vice one). I’d love to go and spend some time and really explore without feeling unwelcome or that someone was following me and my family around watching everything we touched. We’re not thieves or bad people trying to ruin the shop. We are a small family who were genuinely interested in spending some money on decorations for our new home. Oh well.

The most magical and whimsical little shop to ever be created. I just want to live in here, is that too much to ask? I stumbled upon Bön while waiting to eat next door(get the huevos rancheros) and couldn’t control myself from impulse buying. They have too many goodies to list at varying price points, and even got a shout out in the NY times(go Tucson!). I live in the Valley, but I’ll be sure to visit next time I’m in town, I suggest you do too. Cheers to the beautification of Historic Tucson!

What a cute and eclectic place! I don’t even know what to call this type of store, but it carries adorable greeting cards, soaps, trinkets, succulents, furniture, pillows, throws, clothes, and shoes. I would buy everything if I weren’t a student. I appreciate a store with a good selection of gift items. Bön is a welcome addition to downtown.
