Many years, many homes, many roof jobs, very pleased. I have been managing private vacation homes in the Tucson area for quite some time now. There is a short list of companies that I have counted on for over ten of those years and Bob’s is on that list. The homes I manage are high end and most have anything but typical roofs. Bob’s has always been fair and forthright with me. When roof work is needed, for comparison sake, sometimes my homeowners ask me to get a competing bid. I’ve heard the«you need a new roof» plenty of times from other roofers, but never from Bob’s. My clients can afford it if need be, and I am sure the folks at Bob’s know that by now, but for 10 plus years, I’ve never heard it from Bob’s people regarding any job they have bid on for one of my client homes. I watch very carefully how my client’s money is spent, they may have deep pockets but I am very sensitive to anyone I perceive that is trying to gouge them, Bob’s and the others on my short list of long term trusted companies have never made my «distrust hackles» rise up! Buyer beware. Called these guys out for an estimate and from the very beginning wasn’t very impressed with them. The guy who came out told me I needed a new roof after looking at it for about 5 seconds. He didn’t even get on the roof before telling me I needed a new roof. His customer service skills weren’t exactly great either. I asked him to actually look at the roof before telling me I needed a new roof. So he got on the roof, looked at it haphazardly for a short time, and told me again I needed a new roof. They sent me an estimate for 1000’s of dollars for a new roof. I had about 4 other people/companies look at the roof too. No one else told me I needed a new roof and all the other bids that came in were for just basic re-coating and repairs as needed. In fact, I even had other people tell me I didn’t need a new roof, and wouldn’t need one for a few years yet. So be careful with this company… I’m not sure if they were the ones being honest, or the ones being dishonest… but either way I wasn’t impressed with them. At the very least, improving their customer service would be helpful.
