Barcelo Electric

Barcelo electric was hired by the General CONtractor for a new house. After going through the house and noting where all of the receptacles and lights were located at both panels, I contacted and hired an Electrical Engineer to go through my findings and write a report. The Engineer found 19 Safety Code violations. I then filed a Complaint with the ROC with 66 complaint items listed against this contractor. None of the outlets or switches are located at the same height. None of the light fixtures are the same height or distance from next. The problem is the same with the fans. There are several circuits that are overloaded. There are outlets that are not supposed to have any other outlets attached to them. There are circuits that have no GCFI and are supposed to. There are Circuits with GCFI that have other outlets attached and should be stand alone. There are places where the incorrect gauge of Wire was knowingly placed. There are 19 places in the main electrical panel that are vacant. There was no excuse for the dangerous shortcuts.
