I love simple food done well and this place is exactly that. Admittedly, I’ve only ever gotten their fish tacos, but honestly they’re the best I’ve had and are consistently delicious. The sauces they offer compliment the tacos well. I love spicy food and theirs salsas really provide that extra kick that keeps me coming back for more. Really fresh, really good food. Clean, we’ll run, quick lunch. What more can you ask for?

Those are some seriously spicy camarones enchilados! I think I was sweating more from the sauce than the 110° outside. Spicy hiccups hit me for a few minutes also, hiccups tell me it’s juuust right. And they’re loaded, no skimpy half-filled tortillas here. Good time I’d say! Good enough that I’ll be stopping in anytime I’m in the neighborhood.

Hello spontaneous food truck stop! Hello my new favorite fish taco in Tucson! At $ 1.50 a pop, you could easily fill up on these tasty fish tacos(with their sizable, lightly breaded fish chunks) without breaking the bank. Love the crisp slaw that tops these street-size gems, and the house-made sauces(one hot and one tangy) that come with. A cooler full of Mexican Coca-Colas and other delights are your drink choices, and the whole operation is as well taken care of as any indoor restaurant. Instead of sitting in the dirt under meager shade cloth, this location provides a concrete patio with a *real roof* to sit under! Kudos Baja Fish Tacos! If you were closer to my house I might have to move up a pant size… Next time I’m going to spring for the tostadas with fish ceviche, but I couldn’t stop eating the tacos – I even got back up to order a round 2 and received a sampling of some excellent tamarind-candied nopalitos which were exceedingly good(natural tasting, balancing all the flavors and not tongue-stabbing you with salty-sour). In summary, this is what a food truck should be: TASTY and economical, with the added bonus of comfortable and clean seating! Keep in mind when you go: cash only!

I moved my business to this neighborhood about 18 months ago. It soon became the spot for me and my employees for a few reasons The first is the place is clean, really clean which is importatnt to me when it comes to sea food. The food is fresh and the sauces are ones that mke you come back. The people, the family are the icing on this deal. Charlie is one of those guys that gets business, service and is good people. His parents always remember you and serve you like champs. This is the epitome of «the southwest roadside stands», treat yourself…

Having lived in San Diego, taking regular trips to Tijuana for seafood and tacos the way they can only do it in Baja, I’ve missed that style of food in Arizona. Baja Tacos is so authentic and amazingly delicious, I have to eat with my eyes closed and say a little prayer of thanks every single time. Seriously, this is one of my favorite eats in Tucson. I worked with Carlos to bring the food truck to my wedding. At first, we thought my idea was unorthodox but worked with me. He was so professional, courteous and friendly through the entire process and my guests *loved* the food — they’re still talking about it months later! Many of them went for seconds and thirds, though two menus from the item is generally enough for a person of normal appetite. Mountains of ceviche, overflowing tacos of chile relleno de marlin(my personal favorite!), a spattering of spicy and creamy sauces, juicy limes, and fire to your liking. Just writing this is making me hungry. You can’t beat the price for authentic baja seafood this scrumptious, and your business supports genuinely good people, with a great service. My recommendation of Baja Tacos comes from a happy heart and pleased palate.

Discovered this food truck gem at the Food Truck Round Up at the Shelter. Baja Tacos= Best fish Taco in Tucson(at least from a food truck) Wow! Their fish taco was perfectly fried, the batter didn’t over power the fish, and the baja sauce was tangy and bright. I could easily eat that with any dish. I also ordered the Ceviche and impressed I was! I’ll be honest, I was little hesitant to order ceviche from food truck, but after peering inside and seeing how spotless it was, I went for it and I’m glad I did. This ceviche was so super clean and flavorful. I have a love-hate with ceviche, because so many restaurants don’t bother devaining the shrimp and that’s just gross. This shrimp was devained and sweet. Overall is was delightful. It could have used a touch more salt and lime, but it was good nonetheless. They had several hot sauces to season it with so that added an extra kick. This food truck seems to be someone new on the scene and I look forward to seeing them at more round-ups around town!

I loved the personable owner of this food truck. I was able to try them out at the Food Truck Roundup in Marana. I walked right over to the truck and the owner greeted me and recommended the ceviche tostada, how could I say no? It was good and flavorful although it didn’t really lend it’s self to street food all that well since it was difficult to eat and a little messy. They also set up a station with lots of different hot sauces to try and the owner was happy to steer me in the spicy direction! I want to go back and try the fish tacos which my family said were delicious.

Attended the food truck round up. I was very happy with the baja style fresh food. I ordered the super baja fish taco and Ceviche de Camaron tostada. Overall, both were good but the super taco was the best. The fish chunks were reasonably large, breaded and fried and the taco had lots of salsa and cream. It had two taco shells, which I appreciated because the filling was way to much for one shell to hold. The sauce balanced wonderfully with all of the fish. The ceviche tostada was yummy, it had allot of shrimp on it. The tomatoes and sauce ran off and filled the bottom of the to-go-plate. It didn’t make the tostada shell soggy at all, but it did make it messy to eat. I’ll be back for more baja tacos next roundup!

First tasted Baja taco at the foodtruck round up. My husband went over to the truck and looked at the menu and decided to order one shrimp taco and a ceviche de camaron tostada for us to share. The ceviche had a good flavor but I was disappointed in the amount of shrimp that was actually in it. It had a lot of chopped tomatoes. As for the taco, it was good as well but only because of the toppings, which were the fresh salsa and crema. They served the taco on two tortillas which overpowered the shrimp. We took one off. The shrimp also had a very thick batter that didn’t let the shrimp flavor come through. Maybe they were overwhelmed by the people. I don’t think that I would go out looking for this truck, but I am willing to give them another chance, at the next food truck roundup perhaps.
