Aveda

I don’t write too many reviews, but this was a must. Yesterday I was wandering around the mall and remembered that I wanted to see if Aveda had something for my dry cracked hands. Upon entering the store I was greeted by this very nice young lady. She asked if I wanted tea and inquired about what I was looking for. She offered to pamper my hands with a scrub, lotion, and massage. My hands were feeling relief of pain for the first time in weeks. I asked some questions about some products I was interested in and she replied with expert knowledge. She really knew her stuff. She offered to do a neck and shoulder mini massage with some products that were on display. Although my two children were bickering 2 feet away, there was zero chance of ruining the peacefulness I was feeling. I fealt so calm and relaxed. At no point during the 30 minutes I was in the store was I ever asked to buy something. There was no feeling of obligation. I did however, purchase 4 items and signed up for the $ 10 program that gives points for purchases. I didn’t get the girls name but she had amazing customer service skills. Far and few these days. :(. Although I spent more than I had planned on impulse buys, the Aveda experience was fabulous!

Located in the Park Mall, Aveda is a fun place to browse around. Love the product, «Be Curly» it put’s body and curl back into my natural wavy hair. Staff is helpful and extremely nice. For those who recycle, Aveda collects product caps/​lids for recycling. My hubby drops by with a big bag of caps every so often and they in return give him samples to try out. Also, if you fill out one of their cards, you get a free product of their choice for your birthday.

First of all… in case you haven’t been in an Aveda store before, be prepared to throw down some serious dough for products. That being said, Aveda is some of the highest-​quality products I’ve ever purchased and the store in the mall was really a great experience. I wish I had caught the name of the sweet girl that worked there, but she was super friendly and helpful. If you have specific skin or hair issues you are looking to match up to products, they really take their time trying to help you out and trying stuff out. I LOVE the hand cream and foot cream and am excited to try the new hair products Aveda just released for wavy/​curly hair. I received a lovely mini hand massage using the creams to try them out, and then the blue calming oil was used for a nice 5 min back/​neck massage. Don’t forget to try some of the tea while you’re there. Great product + Great customer service= I’ll definitely return.
