I also was a customer of Zeb-Tec for years. Haven’t had any problems with Action calling me for scheduling and they were happy to work around my schedule. In fact have an inspection today with the same inspector we had last year. We’ve seen no sign of termites but glad to know the house is protected.

I was a happy customer of ZEB-TEC for the past 10+ years. About 18 months ago, they sold their business to Action Termite of Phoenix. This has been a dark experience for me. First, no one sent me a reminder that my coverage was ending, so when I did call, I was told I had to pay them as a new customer and have my place treated as if for the first time. Now it’s a year later. I have not received any reminder notice this year and I called in time for the inspection, got it scheduled. In confirming that appointment 24 hours out, we were told that the appointment was for 2 days later. They claim it’s my error. I looked at the original notes I had taken and confirmed to validate I had listened correctly. In my case this involves 5 other families, a notification of this arbitrary change, is highly problematic since they all work on different shifts. I reported this to Action Termite, but there was no effort to assist. I understand there are excellent competitors out there, I will be looking for an authentic company to assist me in the future. I hope this feedback will spare you the grief.

My inspector was«R.J. Geen.» Made openly rude and condescending comments when I asked questions about what he found on the inspection. He told me he found evidence of termite damage. When I asked him if it was«active» termite damage, he smirked and said, «Yeah…those tubes don’t typically build themselves.» After six years with this company, they have never done a complete treatment for termites – just spot inspections. They never call to let me know I am coming due for my warranty. After six years of being a loyal customer – and paying $ 125 a year for a 5-minute«nope, still no termintes» inspection – I realized that I was past due for an inspection(and outside of their 30-day grace window by three weeks.) They told me «tough luck» and wanted to charge me $ 440 for a spot treatment and a 1-year warranty. After he slid me the bill, he made sure to advise me in a condescending tone that he would«highly recommend» that I not let *this* warranty expire. Thanks, Captain Obvious. His foot was barely out the door as I started dialing other termite companies. I found SOS Exterminating – who also does my weed care – and they were wonderful. They immediately noted that my house had no termite chemical on it, and it had been badly in need of a complete service for the last few years. They offered to do the spot treatment AND the full house service(5+ hours of work) for exactly the same price as Action Termite Control. They also mentioned that they make several telephone calls to people when warranties are coming due, and my technician, William, said that if he can’t get a hold of clients after a few tries, he will come by and do an exterior inspection for them, and then let them know the results to see if they would like to extend their contract for another year. Complete service treatments are part of the annual warranty fee, and they do them every 4 – 5 years for clients. He couldn’t have been more helpful. I was never so happy to give my business to someone else. I would never recommend Action Termite to anyone. SOS Exterminating gets a gold star, though. Go with them.

I wouldn’t refer them to anyone after dealing with ‘Dorena’. Burns Pest is consistently the best for treatment and customer service.
