I found this salon on Groupon (smart marketing) and was pleasantly surprised. I have been around the hair industry and know good service when it is given. I have been to the very high end salons, to hair being done at the kitchen sink and everything in between. The one thing that I enjoyed the most is that they care about the hair and the whole client. This is a microwave fishbowl we live in but these young ladies took the time to have a conversation about my lifestyle, prior hair care and how I would like my hair cut. Like so many women of color I am in transition from relaxer to non chemical blow out and Shana took the time to have a conversation about my hair.
I enjoyed the atmosphere of no loud music, no loud talking, no screaming children, and nobody coming in attempting to sale bootleg CD’s. When I found this on groupon I was very skeptical but I had my haircut on the first visit and I usually would wait at least a few visits before I would get a hair cut.
I am impressed with how these young women are using technology to help them with their dream of being hairstylist. I will be back sooner then later.

I found this place using Groupon and was pleased with the service. There are two stylist Kendra and Shana.
My stylist was Shana. She was very personable and professional. She asked questions about my hair and the products I used. She also looked and felt my hair before she started working on it. She also answered questions I had about my hair.
Kendra was also very personable. Her clients seemed happy with the service she provided and they looked great when leaving also.
This salon is located in the Extra Space Storage Building (a nice surprise). It is a small salon enough room only for the two stylist and their clients so I suggest not to bring anyone else because there is no room for them to wait in the salon. They had a TV in the shop the volume was up a little to high but they did turn it down after a while. Nice atmosphere.
I will be returning again in the next 2 — 3 weeks for wash and style and hope the quality and atmosphere remains the same.
