I was sort of excited when this place opened. Mostly because I love their chicken and the location was convenient. I SOOOO wanted this place to be my *go to* spot for the occasional chicken & biscuit craving. Sadly, it is not. Don’t get me wrong, this is probably one of the nicer Popeyes you’ll ever go to. They have TVs in the dining room for you to enjoy while you eat. Who does that? And it is quite clean. But … they haven’t been able to get a steady stream of business so every time I come here, the food is lukewarm or old. I’ve had chicken fingers that sat under a heat lamp for so long that they were impossible to chew. I’ve had chicken I had to take home and microwave. And I’ve had french fries that were so hard there was no saving them. What I have NEVER had is some hot, fresh fried chicken. I don’t see how they will survive. Poor quality when you have low foot traffic to begin with is a bullet train to a self fulfilling prophecy of going out of business. I give this place 12 months.
