This stores gain is 638 Columbia Streets HUGE loss when Janet transferred over to this location earlier this year! She’s a great manager who runs a good business and is a wonderful person as well. Some of her employees from her former store followed her to this location and she’s always had a great crew. Besides that, Mr. Subb is the best sub shop in the capital district bar none! Great food that’s always fresh and competitive prices. They put Subway to shame. I like their Cheddar Neba’s, potato nuggets with cheddar cheese dip as well as their salads and other fine subs. I highly recommend coming here

If I had a choice between Mr. Subb and catching the flu, I would take the flu. And then I would cut off my toe. The quality of the cheesteak sub can only be described as having a texture and taste similar to a wet piece of corrugated cardboard, and the taters are awful and possibly 95% carcinogenic. The only thing that is good was the Dr. Pepper I had, but that’s because I bought it before stepping into this place.

This location was the popular hangout for the Troy High kids in the early 1990s, conveniently located at Hoosick St and South Lake Ave in the heart of Sycaway. My senior classmates would grab lunch here often. My sister’s former boyfriend used to work nights at this location, so my folks knew where my sister was hanging out on most nights. I still enjoy going to Mr. Subb(formerly Mike’s Neba back in the day) for the Turkey & Bacon and BBQ Beef subs. They no longer have the Seafood Sub :-(which was also one of my all time favorites. All subs can be upgraded to a combo meal for an additional charge. The Potato Nuggets are sooo good, but I always ask for some Tiger Sauce with the nuggets. Check out the menu offerings at
