McDonalds in the Cap Region is not a great place to go. It does what it needs to, but I’ve been here a couple times and the ice cream machine is always broken. The people here are busy, but the employees often have short fuses. McDonald’s, McDonald’s, I’ve enjoyed you so long, But when you fail me, I feel so wronged. No ice cream in sight, And none in the future, Trying to dry up my tears, But these wounds can’t be sutured. Away, I’ll go, Seeking greener fields Hopefully Burger King Can give me better feels ‚)

One of the best Mc Donald’s I have seen so far. This place is open 24 hours It is also one of the most convenient place for snowboarders/skiers to get breakfast before heading up to the slopes and a quick meat after heading back from the slopes.

Who honestly writes reviews about fast food restaurants?! Since other people have I suppose I will stoop to their level and submit to peer pressure and conform… This restaurant has satisfied a few late cravings, and a few hash brown cravings. I don’t have anything negative to say since the consumer knows what they are getting when ordering from a commercial fast food chain… The service is actually quite good although I complimented the drive thru kid on his customer service skills and he seemed confused… He didn’t understand by me saying«I just wanted to commend you on your customer service skills» that this was a compliment and he responded«uhhhhhhh have a good day?» Haha! Anyway– review over.

I’ve been here a few times because it is a block away from where I stay when I visit Troy and some days, I’m just too lazy to walk 15 minutes downtown. Needless to say, I’m surprised this franchise is still open. They have never, ever gotten my order right. Ever. The very first time I went, I ordered a mocha latte and they simply forgot about it(not sure how that happened since they should’ve seen it on their screen some time in the 15 minutes I stood there). Another time I ordered a McDouble and got 20 nuggets instead. Not exactly sure how that was misheard. Another time I ordered a McChicken and got a McDouble. If my orders weren’t valuated at $ 2 and replaced with equivalent or greater meals, I would have stopped visiting a long time ago, convenience be damned. The cashiers are friendly enough, but everyone in the kitchen needs to be replaced. Their drive-through is busy and I’m guessing all the effort goes into that. The interior is well-lit and has a «café» area with fancy-looking seating. Unfortunately, the seating is hard and the tables throughout the restaurant are cleaned very rarely(the two times I sat in, I have to take a napkin and wipe off the tabletops).

One of the 2 McDonald’s that I’ve passed on Hoosick. It’s newer and the décor, seating, and tables are modern and actually beautiful. Not a typical McDonald’s. McDonalds’ food will eventually kill you, but if you need a food and pee break before heading on the highway to Vermont or back to NJ, it does the job.

OMG. Avoid like the plague. At least until they get their act together.
