I’ve been here four or five times for fill ins before. I didn’t feel compelled to write a review until today. My previous services were a gel fill in with a clear UV polish (I like the natural look). They use really good products that hold up in my work environment (I sell perfume). Kathy was the person who assisted me. She was fantastic! I had my gel removed and got a fresh overlay. Her attention to detail was much appreciated! I also had the best pedicure ever! I love that the bowls you soak your feet in are covered & so is the jet. Sanitation is a great thing!

Wow!!! This place is so AmaZing!!! Cleanliness level 10! Every Pedicure bowl gets covered by plastic and all the tools sterilized so you know you will be safe ! Which is so important to me! Nicest nail salon I’ve ever been too! Menh is the BEST Sweetest guy !! He does a perfect Fill every time I know I will get what I pay for here !! I always leave so happy loving my nails !! I can’t recommend this place enough!

Update 1÷18÷16: I held my 4 year old daughters birthday here, and it was great! The staff was more than patient and catered to the demands of ages 3 – 9 for polish changes on their hands and feet. Multiple colors and all the girls got «diamonds» on their nails. The Moms also had mani and pedis — everyone was happy with the location and the service!
I have been coming here for over a year — great place! Nice and clean inside and everyone I have ever had do my nails is wonderful. I have also had my eyebrows waxed and loved the results.
I love them for the fact that when I bring my daughter in they are wonderful to her — the ladies always chat her up and are more than wiling to do flowers or art on her nails. For all you parents giving me looks for getting my three year olds nails done, she loves it and it perfectly behaved in the salon.
DEAL ALERT: do a polish change on hands and toes for kids under 10 years for only $ 11!
Always lots of people available and even when I don’t have an appt I never wait more than 10 minutes.

I love this place! I got full set acrylic and manicure/​pedicure. Everything was perfect. The staff was so generous and pedicure was just amazing with hot towels and massage. Will surely go back again :))

Had a pedicure here — sloppy paint, didn’t turn on the nail dryer to dry my pedicure, then I waited to pay while the employee working the register played on his smartphone. I had high hopes for this place — it’s very clean, very nice inside and has a lot of polish choices. Underwhelmed to put it lightly…

It really depends on who you get here. My most recent experience was not pleasant as the girl could not accommodate short nails and cut over my cuticles instead of trimming them. However in the last I’ve had people who did a great job. Just be sure to voice what you’re there for.
The atmosphere is the best in the Troy/​Birmingham area.

Been waiting 55 minutes and just heard a lady scream, «that’s my nail!!!» because her nail tech was attempting to remove acrylic without knowing where the acrylic starts. I’m out of here.

Love this place. I moved here from CA and have been looking for a good salon. After many fails I found this one. This place is clean and pretty. The massage chairs are all new and give a great massage. The guy who gave me my mani pedi was great super nice and did a fantastic job. The prices are a little high however they do super work.

Very friendly staff. Comfortable chairs. Would come back.

This place is great. I don’t know why it has taken me so long to try it out, since it’s such a close drive.
But I called ahead and made an appointment, front reception was very professional and accommodating.
Elena (sp?) is the one who did my manicure, and she was very polite and a pleasure to speak with.
The place itself is clean, soft lighting, and big comfy chairs to sit in.
And most importantly, my manicure looks great (huge color selection). The price is very reasonable as well. I think I found my new place.

Overall I would say this is more like a 3.5. I really want to give 4 stars — but unfortunate incidents keep occurring that are making me question their service.
The first time I went for a gel manicure and a pedicure I had a great experience. My pedicure was relaxing, and lasting. I received a lower leg and foot massage (not just a two second rub) and hot towels. My manicure was excellent. Evenly filed, even polish and it last a solid 3 weeks. I was very satisfied. I never got the tech’s name (okay I don’t remember) but she is Grade A. Slender build, very long hair, attractive — sits by the wall.
The next time I went I had an equally good experience with Kiwi. She did my mani /​pedi again and I found her to be tons of fun. She chatted with me, and had a real conversation. Nails were done well.
The next time I came in — Kiwi was not available so I had an older gentleman. He is awful. He is hands down the BEST at acrylics — but he should not be allowed to do a natural nail. I am pretty sure here removed all of the skin around my nail bed, the polish job was uneven and didn’t cover the side of the nail. I saw him struggling as he painted them and watched him apply 4 coats of polish. 4 coats of shellac! Dude, I’ll need a floor sander to get the polish off! There was NO hand massage or hot towels for my now sore paws. At the prices they charge — I want the full shebang you know?
I only go see Kiwi now. I trust her — and she’s my Nail Goddess. This place has excellent techs — but know who specializes in what. The guy that tore up my nails did an A+ job on my friend’s acrylics.
The one thing I am not on board with is the additional charge to remove gel polish. Since when is removing polish for a fresh manicure an EXTRA service? This is PART of the manicure. Again, at the rates they charge — this is one they could do without and probably increase their return business. Also — USE YOUR COMPUTERS. Actually enter customer information regarding services, polish, tech, etc. Customers appreciate not having to scour bottles of polish for 10 minutes because they can’t remember the color they loved last summer.
I continue to refer people because I still feel this is a great salon.

I use to go here all the time — never had a problem, until the last time that I went. I have gel nails and nail tech had no idea what he was doing. So much so that he drilled and buffed down past my actual nail and it hurt so bad. They told me they wouldn’t charge me for my manicure but were still going to charge me for the pedicure I had after such a traumatic experience.
To add insult to injury, after a couple of days the gel/​acrylic on my other nails started to chip.

Was on my lunch break and decided to get a quick pedicure. I love that they were fast, thorough and didn’t have too much chit chat – I like to relax, not talk. Very clean, very professional. Plus with the 20% off, my pedicure was only $ 26 (not incl tip), which is a great deal especially in this area.
Only con was they used bath & body works lotion on my feet. I had to pull out my body shop body butter (I have really dry feet). They can do better than B&BWs.

Came here for a quick shellac mani at lunch and they were very efficient, timely, and paid close attention to detail. I loved the hot towels and over all good hygiene of the salon! Not to mention they are offering 20% the entire month of July!

My usual mani/​pedi I get takes place at either New Day and nail spa (roch road location) or at Eco nails. Eco was booked solid until 4pm today and new day doesn’t have that good of a variety of pinks :/​
Anyways, I ended up here and the interior was really pretty! They had a lot of colors to pick from but the swatches weren’t well organized and it was hard to see all the colors. Chairs were really comfy though :)
What pissed me off was the fact that they charge $ 3 extra if you already have a gel polish on. Let’s break it down. You’re charging me $ 35 for you to file my nails, and paint it. The mark up on that is already astronomical yet you want to be petty and charge an additional $ 3 to remove my nail polish? Sounds like business isn’t good enough and you have to find a way to get more money. Three dollars won’t make or break me but what I’m trying to get at is it looks foolish to charge for that when that’s part of your job and no other places do.
Mary was efficient. Not great, but efficient, my nails weren’t filed correctly and the paint job was uneven. If you’re a nail snob like me you know how annoying it is :/​
I wouldn’t come running back here but they aren’t totally off my list, yet…

Talk about Epic!
I was in town to visit my in-​laws, and my hunnie bunch dragged me to a nail salon as she DESPERATELY needed a mani/​pedi.
Being the thoughtful Romeo that I am, I took her to Epic nails, and boy I was surprised at the customer service. The workers were all very friendly. We were served by Ivy and Andy, who not only seemed like very down to earth, but also had a really great sense of humor.
To top it all off, the place was extremely clean, very good sanitation, unlike other nail shops. If I ever go back into town I would definitely give them another go.
