Seitz Brothers

I used Seitz Bros. for basement waterproofing in 2011. Five stars for reasonable price, one star for shoddy workmanship. They left big blobs of concrete everywhere… the reason why I’m writing this now is because due to an upstairs bath remodel, we must use the basement plumbing and one of those blobs just popped through the fiberglass bottom of the basement shower… and the toilet is sitting on a concrete blob as well and wobbles back and forth and leans to one side — a lot. I wish I could post pictures here. And concrete splatters all over. Oh, and back when they put in the sumps, the basement flooded shortly thereafter. The dampness in the basement caused the sensitive outlets to trip, and the sumps were higher than the floor and the water could not drain into them. They couldn’t send someone out to pump the basement until the next day, so we had to do it ourselves. I hope that they’ve since «cleaned up» their act. They were much cheaper than other places, but as the saying goes, you get what you play for. If I were considering them, I’d ask to see a recent job they’ve done before hiring them. Perhaps they’ve improved on this service.

My father has been ill and his house has been closed up for about 4 months. During this time mold had taken over his basement. I have never had to deal with a situation like this and I wasn’t sure where to begin. I found Seitz Bros. website online and had them come out to take a look. The salesperson, Aaron, was very friendly and helpful. He provided me with options and quotes on the spot.
Today Seitz Bros. come to my father’s home to perform Mold Remediation. I met Gene and Jimmy from Seitz Bros. this morning at 8:00. They were prompt, courteous and extremely friendly. I pointed them to the problem areas and let them get to work and I left. I immediately felt comfortable with being able to leave them in the house alone while I went about my day.
Later in the afternoon they called me to come back and show me the work they had done. I was amazed at the care they took to make sure that the house was mold free and safe for my father to return to. They went above and beyond what I had expected from a Mold Remediation company. They even took the time to explain why the mold was there, how long it at been there and how to prevent it from coming back. I am extremely satisfied with the work that they did.
I will recommend Seitz Brothers to anyone I know for any of the services they provide which include: Termite and Pest Control, Mold & Asbestos Treating & Removal, Radon Testing and Mitigation, Basement & Crawl Space Waterproofing and Fire & Water Restoration.

I called Seitz because I had an ant problem a few days before I was leaving for vacation. I have driven past their building a hundred times growing up, they have a fun «pest of the month» sign on their building. In December, the pest of the month is «Roof-​tapping Reindeers.»
When I called they were very friendly. I told them I was going on vacation and they squeezed me in that day! 30 minutes after I called, the technician was at the door. Marty was very professional and friendly. He walked around our house inside and out and looked to see where the ants were getting in. He gave us the plan of attack and an estimate. He sprayed the house right away, we didn’t have to make an appointment for him to come back another time. They have a 90 day guarantee, so if we see any bugs anywhere in the house, we can call and they will come back! They also offer a quarterly service.
I am happy to say when we came back from vacation there were no alive bugs in our house!
