This place looked really nice, but looks can be deceiving. My daughter and I stopped here after her driver’s test across the parking lot at the Secretary of State. The waitress must have been having a rough day because she was as crabby as they come. Her attitude was down right abrasive. She ordered a BLT sub, an iced tea, and I ordered a juliene salad with water to drink. The food was mediocre but passable, but then the check came and the waitress had forgotten to discount the BLT(it was the special today), charged an extra $ 2 for a handful of fries(special came with chips?), and charged me for a soda that I never ordered nor received. When I politely asked her to re-check the bill she got offended and snatched it out of my hand. We paid $ 18 and change for lunch portions of mediocre food and awful service. Regretfully, I can’t find any reason to recommend this place to anyone. Even my teen commented about being«ripped off“after we walked out the door.

Did you ever wonder why wieners turn green other than on St. Patrick’s Day? Did you ever wonder why most people skip the end slice of a loaf of bread? Did you ever wonder why people put boots on dogs in the winter time? Quit wondering. People are wierd. I was actually served a hot dog piled high with coney sauce that had a green hue to it. Even though green is my favorite color, it’s not my favorite for hot dogs. These wieners were probably precooked and sitting in a pan of warm water, then tossed on the grill to heat. Throw on a little coney sauce and hide it. I stopped eating the hot dog and complained to the waitress. Apparently this is an accepted practice at this restaurant. Maybe they make a better pizza, but I’m not going to find out. Then for being a non smoker, this place being small in size had the worst ventilation. It only takes one person to smoke to ruin it for all. Green wieners, smoke, marginal at best coney sauce makes for a bad lunch choice. Not even worth a second chance. ****Cash ONLY****(if you dare try this place)
