My and my fiancée had went here a little late(40 minutes to close) but planned on eating quick and the second we walk in the owner had given us attitude saying we close you can’t be here late. The whole staff had been running around cleaning and not paid attention to us or the other diners which I thought was extremely rude. The food was okay there wasn’t much of a sushi selection and there wasn’t many labels of what some food was. Probably wouldn’t go there again.

China Grill Buffet is your typical Chinese buffet. The food is average and is best described as meh. Not very memorable. Although, they do have a chocolate fountain that you can dip strawberries and marshmallows. I did enjoy that part of the meal when I ate there a year ago back in the spring of 2014. As for the service, well it’s pretty much non-existent as the staff does the bare minimum with occasional visits to fill your drinks and take your empty plates. Mind you, this is assuming they actually remember to come to your table. I also found this place dingy and bit unclean. I’m not surprised as this buffet did temporarily close a few months ago due to receiving unsatisfactory health code violations. Thankfully, I have not eaten here since as I cannot trust my health to eat here. Therefore, you can do better and eat somewhere else.

Please stay away! Normally I’m not this alarming in a review but both my eating partner and I had a terrible experience. We were both sick to our stomach within an hour of leaving. On top of that, the buffet area had stale food with messy displays and disinterested workers. I know, it’s a buffet so standards should be low on food quality. But this is so low it was dangerous for us.

As I was just in this buffet the food looked delicious. I came her with my family and we sat down and, ordered our drinks then started to the food. I started to pick out the crab legs and then sat down and started to enjoy them. I then go get back up to get some more and they don’t appreciate giving them to you. They had a mean look on their face! Then I started to get the small crab. I really did enjoy those. After having little more of those I smelled smithing icky. I smelled the crab and it smelled like something rotting in the freezer. Overall the service was ok. But the workers did not look happy to work there. They DIDNOT serve ANY crab legs and if they did they have an attitude. This place was no good for Chinese. I would rather travel to rt. 1 and go to Pf. Changes that has 10 times better food.

As buffets go, it is clean and restocked quickly. The weekends bring out the oysters and prime rib. The fish is always fresh. No fishy smell. Parking is very convenient out front in a lot. I would definitely recommend this buffet.

This restruant is a buffet with five star food, and it’s pay to get in. My party had and excellent time, and dispite being called«China grill.» There was quite the selections, from sweets, pizza, and sushi, the variety let you choose what YOU wanted and, they’re was a chocolate fountain for those who dared to grab a second plate for dessert.

A Filthy Dirty Shithole. Unwashed dishes piled up in plain sight. A sign over the shusi that says«Consuming Raw Seafood May Increase Your Risk of Food Illnesses». Very comforting. I tasted one piece and spit it out. The rest of the buffett was fair at best. I’m sure there are other local places that have to be better. This one needs to be shut down until they clean up their act.

Food is ok but they are always open. We had Christmas dinner there one year. There is always something on the buffet line which is tasty

Typical Chinese Buffet. Decent food, but nothing special.

First of all, it’s a buffet, so don’t expect a 5 star service, as all the employees are Chinese and barely speak English. However, they are efficient at doing their job. The food is 50÷50… You’ve got to pick and choose what you eat. For the price, you actually get crab legs, crawfish, shrimp, different meats, and the choice is nice enough that you’ll find something you like. On weekends, they have the chocolate fountain, and that is worth anything really. I’ve been going there for the past 7 years and I don’t plan on stopping. I can also say that they are extremely clean, as I’ve been there at the closing time, and I was surprised to see how they cleaned the closed section. It was an eye opening for me. I could give 5 stars, but things could be improved, like the grill section where food items stay out at the ambient temperature, and that can’t be good for the food…

You pay for what you get and this place is worth every penny!!! There are often coupons in the Mercer County Clipper. The restaurant is clean and the food is very good! Everyone in the family will find something to eat and leave full!

I went here today for the first with my mom. I live in Philly, so we rarely see each other. I wanted to sit and have a leisurely lunch with her, but that was ruined by the sheer rudeness of most of the staff… very uninviting, staff made us feel like we were beggers on the corner, not welcomed customers… No greetings, no smiles, no pleasant nods, requests for water, delayed, man marching past tables every 5 minutes made me feel like we were prisoners being watched. Food was cold, mediocre, the only item that stood out was the friend plantains. Everything else was below average. This business won’t last. They have no customer service skills at all. Will never go back. Sorry…

This place is probably going to go out of business. Food quality is horrendous, even compared to other buffets. Guy behind the grill is on his phone the whole time, which is ok because the selection was anything but fresh. Staff was ok, voiceless emotionless automatons though. The selection was poor and not really worth the$ 50 for one adult and two 11 year olds that we paid. Soup was good enough to eat. That’s the best thing I can say.

For a Chinese Buffet, this place is terrible, all food is gross and greasy, not many choices at all. I would have given one star, but I found their dumpling is actually very good.

Meh… Just below being«OK». Not really tasty, kinda all around dingy looking & in my opinion, not authentic Chinese food(or close to it). Positives are some sushi choices, fresh cut fruits and the alfredo seafood pasta was good. I won’t be back…

I wish I could give negative stars. I visited China Grill Buffet this evening with my family and it is by far the worst food I have ever had at a buffet. In addition to terrible food this place is over priced and has mediocre service.

As far as Chinese Buffets are concerned, this is one of the better ones. After all, they’ve been in business for quite some time. Their food is fresh, hot and their service is very good. If you like seafood and sushi, there’s plenty of that. Snow crab legs for dinner, plenty of shrimp – both hot & cold, fish, clams, mussels, pork, chicken, and veggies.

Granted, this is a Chinese Buffet so don’t expect too much. This is my go to buffet for seafood. Head straight to the back table along the wall where you will find many seafood dishes besides the crab legs. Skip the americanized ones with cheese and bacon. Head for the round table with cold stuff, skip the sushi but do have the raw oysters, clams and sometimes they have beautiful mussels. Zip over to where they keep the nut crackers if you got some crab legs, look to your right and you’ll see a lot of junk and a couple of vegetable dishes. Go for the green beans, broccoli and maybe the little tiny striped clams. For dessert, poke through the steamers looking for peach buns, lemon buns or red bean buns. Behind you you will find fried noodles with syrup sticking them together, several kinds of nuts and next to the chocolate fountain they sometimes have plates or boxes with some real Chinese sweets. Also look for little plates that come out of the kitchen with interesting things not on the regular menu. You can find some quite good food here with a little hunting and ignoring the Americanized junk. It’s worth the price. This is also a kid and family friendly place with plenty of parking.

Need to keep your expectations for buffet food in check… can’t go in expecting fine cuisine. With that being said. my family does enjoy chinese buffets and this certainly did not disappoint. TIP: go when there is a crowd so then the food turns over much faster. There was 5 of us and none of us were disappointed. Crab legs were really yummy and my daughter loved the chocolate fountain.

Food is average as far as Chinese Buffets go. This place gets crazy crowded on Friday nights and weekends… I actually had to share a table with another family once which was not really okay with me, but whatever. The sushi selection is above average. Other than Chinese food and sushi they have a fresh salad bar and I believe only on select nights, and for an additional cost they have a little steak section where they cook it how you want it. They have a cool little chocolate fondue, but again it’s not always out. I guess just on busier nights.

I actually did not eat here because there were other choices. But I saw plenty of people eating in here. Lunch $ 7.50(11:30pm-3:00pm) Dinner $ 14.50(3pm-on) Holidays and weekend might be a few dollars more. Not sure.
