Went here to celebrate taking the A. P U.S History exam– I have only been to Red Lobster a few times in the past. As many people stress, the cheddar biscuits are very very good. My Caesar salad was in all honesty quite good and not to heavy on the dressing. I had the seafood trio special: I chose lobster baked pasta, crab cakes, and bourbon shrimp. While no part of this dish blew me away, it was all solid and I felt overall worth the price of 17:00. The service I experienced along with my friend was quite good as well. I felt it was appropriately attentive, but not over bearing– I was even asked for a refill on my coffee long after I had concluded my meal; in my book little things like that are a big plus. My experience at Red Lobster was not amazing by any stretch but overall I felt like I had received a good value for my money. I also felt like I experienced very good service. I tend to rule places like this out when choosing a place to enjoy dinner– but my experience today will make me think of attending Red Lobster more often.

My daughter and I recently went here for lunch and our service was slow and the food came out cold. I have eaten here many times and this usually doesn’t happen. The thought of eating here always sounds better then it is. Love the dinner biscuits!!!

This is defiantly a chain. I’ve gone here twice and regretted it both times. The food tastes clearly frozen and any lobster I’ve had is too chewy and fishy tasting. The only thing keeping this place alive is the wonderful staff.

I have never been to a Red Lobster before and my fiancé took me over the weekend. We went Saturday around dinner time and we had the best time. I was very nervous since I am not very experienced with a lot of seafood and I had no idea what to order. Our server, Ryan, was very patient and helpful. I ended up ordering the 4 course meal consisting of soup, salad, coconut shrimp with spicy pineapple shrimp, and cheesecake, and they were all so good, I ate everything! Ryan even sat down to show me how to crack crab legs. We had great food, great service, and a great time! I hope all of my experiences there will be like that!

This is my husband and my go to anniversary dinner date. The people are always very nice and the food is always great! I got the Bar Harbor Lobster Bake and my husband got the Roasted Maine Lobster Bake. Mine had noodles under all the lobster, scallops and muscles but his did not so he felt there should have been more. But since there was so much of mine I gave him a bunch and he couldn’t eat it all. Overall it was great. Exactly what we expected.

Worst Red Lobster I’ve ever been to. Service and food were terrible. Management never came around and servers were not attentive.

Will not return to this Red Lobster or any other location. Horrible service, cold and bland food, strange seating arrangements…

We’ve eaten at this location many times. Today the food and service was good, but there were several small ants crawling on the table and wall. The manager didn’t apologize, but we did get a few items comped.

Was there on 2÷1÷2011 for our anniversary was starting off not so good day but when we got here every one was very nice. As soon as the hostess found out we were here for a special occasion things got very bright and cheerier. all the staff was willing to please and make us feel like family. especially our waitress Maggie, she was great, brought our drinks right away, made us feel right at home and bantered with us and joked around, and when it came to the meal left us alone and didn’t rush us. Dinner was great heaping portions for the price which was at the time a great special. The whole night turned out great thanks to Red Lobster. We would recommend them to friends and family and will be going back soon.

Food was great, waitress was so-so. We announced we were visiting from Alaska and they don’t have Red Lobster there, so we needed some time to study the menu. Waitress helped and explained things. We ordered crab legs and I guess she thought we were hicks who wouldn’t notice as we had to ask for the«shell crackers» and then, we had to ask for«seafood forks». THEN we had to ask for hand wipes. Good grief! Each time she acted surprised that ANYONE would ask for such things! The food was great AND she redeemed herself by taking my coconut shrimp off my bill. I took one bite and it was a «YUK» moment so I left the rest. You shouldn’t get too fancy with seafood, IMO. The rolls and salads and mocktails were so good though — my kids, who had never been to a Red Lobster before and they thought it was way good.

I took a friend here for her birthday recently and I must say they’ve certainly made some improvements. .. in the décor and the food. The place is brighter and cleaner looking inside. .. not sure if they’ve painted, but they’ve removed some of the clutter, the lights are a little brighter and it’s downright cheery inside. I had perfectly cooked lobster. .. not rubbery or overdone. The biscuits were as good as I remember them. My Caesar Salad was crisp, flavorful and not an overwhelmingly huge portion like so many other places and just the right amount of dressing. Our waitress was attentive and responsive without being intrusive. My friend’s dinner looked appetizing and wasn’t drowning in butter the way I remember so many Red Lobster entrees. I will go back. .. after my wallet recovers. .. well. .. afterall, we DID have lobster!

Have to give a shout out to Red Lobster in Traverse City as I used to be a bartender and waitress there… yes, it was nearly 10 years ago and things have surely changed, but still… the food is pretty good. Maybe it seemed better since it was at a discount price after I got off my shift. Still, the cheddar bay biscuits can’t be beat… could make a whole meal out of them and their Caesar salad dressing is SOOO good. Oh yeah, the seafood is great too! Miss my days(and nights) at Red Lobster!

Um… so yeah. Cheesy biscuits anyone? Honestly, their unlimited bread baskets are enough to bring me into this place. I could just shovel my face full of them, without stopping, for-ev-ah. Actually, I have a proposal. To hell with marshmellows being used for the«fuzzy bunny» game, let’s use Red Lobster’s cheesy biscuits. Who agrees? Show of hands anyone? Anyway, I like their food, and Traverse City doesn’t offer a whole lot of fresh *sea*food, so it’s kind of nice to go and get some crab legs or lobster tail every now and again. Their drinks are good. Their desserts are great. Their service is excellent. Overall, I’m a happy camper.
