I don’t understand why everyone said bad about here… but they are serving some real CHINESE food that might not taste good for you but really good for me. Great lunch place!

We ordered the Mongolian Beef and the Sesame Chicken. The beef was bland and really chewy. The sauce for the sesame chicken is just sweet — no other flavor to it. The chicken itself seemed reconstituted, very chewy as well. On top of that, the service is very cold. The woman behind the counter did not smile at all, or even say a word other than our total and confirmation of our order. There are better places for Chinese food in this area.

Possibly the worst food I’ve ever attempted to eat! Disgusted I even gave this place a chance!

Ming’s has been around for a decent amount of time in the TC area. This is the place I would always order take-out. Staples like sesame chicken, general chicken, fried rice, crab rangoon, and egg rolls are on par. We ordered what we thought would be good for four people for about $ 45. We had a ton of left overs. The parents enjoyed it and I had a fully belly. Win win. The fried rice was a little bland but the rest of the dishes passed. They have been consistent throughout the years in my experience. A good option for Chinese take-out.

I think everyone can agree that cheap Chinese food sounds good from time to time. Man… This place was bad. I would have thrown it away if I wasn’t so hungry. Tried the almond chicken and it way way over cooked. It had the same chewiness as jerky and to make matters worse, it didn’t even taste good.

Unacceptable. Bland and unpalatable dishes that steal the names of better fare elsewhere. That is to say, you can claim it’s Mongolian Beef, but I’ve had Mongolian Beef before and this ain’t it. Made with only the cheapest of ingredients that taste like they’ve been in the fridge too long, the food at Ming’s Garden is unsettling at best. Even the bottles of pop in their dining area fridge feel dusty and untouched in what is longer than likely desirable. Even the staff is terse and cold, almost as if it is an offense or a bother that you’ve come in to place an order. Do them a favor — don’t do it. You can get better eats anywhere else in town.
