Excellent service. We enjoyed the beer flight with many selections. Beer was fair. The food was outstanding. The best BLT I ever ate. We also enjoyed the Mac and cheese. Outstanding The atmosphere was great. It feels like we are in an English pub.

I enjoyed my lunch! I ordered the smoked fish dip which was good and prosciutto pizza which was amazing. The only downside is the cider choices aren’t great. They are dryer so for a sweet tooth like me I ended up with a water.

Definitely check out Jolly Pumpkin. We were a bit confused because Mission Table was at this same location, but Jolly Pumpkin was downstairs. AWESOME food, beer and service.

Had the Wit beer. Served ice cold in a mug. Tasted great. They serve you kettle chips prior to your meal. They were good as well. I had the Rocket Arugula Salad which was excellent. Kids pizza also tasted good and was reasonably priced. Waitress was nice. The atmosphere is like a cool barn/old ship. Really enjoyed this place!

This is the best of all Jolly Pumpkin locations. The food is decent and the ambiance is cool. This is a family favorite and tradition for us to dine here when visiting the area. I have been here several times and typically order various pizzas. I have also had a very good Apple chicken salad. My most recent visit was in the fall and they had the fireplace going. Nice. I would really rate the food more like a 3 ½ but the atmosphere at this specific location a 4. If on Mission Pointe, I recommend going here.

I have been coming to the Jolly Pumpkin for 3+ years now(my in laws are locals). I thoroughly enjoy every meal I have there. Today I tried the couscous salad. I read the one review and saw the picture offered. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it ended up being one of the most delightful non-traditional salads I have ever eaten. The Kale was the choice for the lettuce and was prepared just the way I like my kale, soft but not too soft and firm but not too firm. The veggies were wonderful and the pickled onion was outstanding. The cheese was a nice surprise as was the dressing! I am going to try to replicate the salad at home! Man I love the Jolly Pumpkin!

Really tasty. Fun environment since it is supposedly haunted. Pulled pork nachos — amazing. Really good. Very large portion … My mom and I split it and at least 1/3−½ was left… Not bc we didn’t love it, just our other food came. Must try I got a cherry chicken pecan salad which I thought was good. Not the most amazing food I have ever had but it was pretty good and light which I was looking for after eating so much in the few days prior. My mom got the steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus which was great she said too we would definitely go back.

Excellent beer choices. Try the buffalo sloppy and whitefish dip! Great selection on the menu. Beautiful drive from Traverse City, well worth the drive!

This was a great place to visit, if you are in or around Traverse City take a drive here. The drive it’s self up the peninsula was worth it. We ate here later in the evening around dusk, the view was still amazing. It sits up on a hill that allows great views. The atmosphere here was great, feels like a lodge with a big fireplace and lots of wood. Staff was very nice. They have outside seating as well, but it was cool so we ate inside. The food was good, not amazing but very good. The drinks were also made right and they had a good selection of beers. Overall we ate a ton and walked out of there stuffed, fat, and happy! A must visit in my opinion. You can dive past it if you are not paying attention, some what hard to see from the road.

Very cool location, feels like it’s in the woods. I like this place for a lunch and the appetizers it’s a great place to start a weekend in TC. I was unimpressed with the entrée options here. A tad overpriced, I expected a little more. The white fish dip and house chips go great with their beer.

One of my favorite stops in Traverse. It feels like the perfect Traverse City spot I want when I am up there visiting from Chicago. Casual enough to have that«up north» vibe I like when I am trying to get out of the city, but unique enough with great pub eats and beers. I love coming here when I do a visit to peninsula wineries. Everything I have had has been really good from perch and whitefish to reubens to pizzas and salads.

Great location off the bay. Very cool atmosphere very casual. We had just an appetizer and a glass of wine and a beer. The server brought us the complimentary chip and dip. We had the snack board cured meats cheese olives and baguette. Very tasty with the peninsula red and a good jolly pumpkin craft beer. May return again maybe for lunch or dinner.

Great location, good service and good food :) The Jolly Pumpkin is always a good time and you can’t beat the novelty of the location. We’ve been there a few times and this time we had the mushroom pizza and the cheesecake. The pizza was good but could have used a bit more flavor to kick it up a notch for this foodie’s palate.

The food is solid and the drinks are good. The décor is fun. It resembles an old lodge on the inside. They brought around potato chips for the table. The dipping sauce is what really made it. It was a mayo based with some great seasoning added in. For my meal I ordered the Mac and Cheese. It consists of mini penne pasta with three cheeses, crispy pancetta and parmesan crust. It was ok. It tasted ok, but I would have liked more flavor depth. The crust gives a nice added texture. This is an interesting place to grab a casual meal or drinks with friends. The food is ok. It can get busy but there is a large parking lot. There is also quite a bit of seating inside to handle it.

Six long years, six long years– finally after more than six long years I moved from NM to Michigan. I was blown away by the gorgeous establishment– staff were amazingly friendly and the entire experience was more than I could have ever asked for– suffice to say I left with a trunk full of my favorite most sought after brews. We began with the sample tray– I would call them«Tapas” — beautiful cured meats and cheeses. We then moved on to the Margarita pizza and finished with a cheese cake desert– Seriously seriously the best night I have had at a restaurant ever. It was well worth the wait and is well worth any distance drive.

I waited a few days to write this, because, well, we stumbled upon it on the Old Mission Peninsula wine trail — and, after four wineries I wanted to be coherent. We’d been there five years ago and loved the big water views of Lake Michigan across the broad lawn in the pine grove(the deck is the place to snag a table in season) and my husband liked the tasting room for the distillery. We ordered fresh lake perch and chips and pizza — which features garnishes from their garden. It was one of those perfectly crystal clear blue summer days that you dream about during a long gray winter. We’ve eaten in the main dining room before, which is timbered in a post and beam New England ski lodge sort of way — so you can’t go wrong, inside or out.

Great place to stop for good beer, good food, and a general good time. In fact I want this place. We were on a pub crawl around the TC region and this one tied for first place for me out of the 5 stops we made. My dream is to own some land in northern Michigan and to have a kick ass pole barn on the property. When that comes true I want to deck out the barn to be exactly like the jolly pumpkin. Loved the bar area and the overall feel. Staff was very attentive and friendly. They have a mug club where you can pay a 1 time fee to get your own mug hanging on the ceiling. Membership comes with your own unique spot on the ceiling to house your mug, larger pours than the normal pints for regular customers, and $ 2 Tuesdays. Can’t wait to come back next time we are in the area. Give it a look!

Honestly, I had greater expectations for this place since it was highly recommended by some people we met along the way on our wine tours. Their bar has some amazing drinks and their tequila is amazing as they are a distillery too. The food was underwhelming and our table had a bad experience with service and vegetarian accommodations, but the only reason they have some starts at all is that the management made up for it all and even offered a free wine tasting in their tasting room.(Although we decided not to go and we’re just ready to leave). Everyone raves about the pulled pork nachos and I have to say I can’t really judge them because they were so cold by the time they finally came out and although the apple tomato salsa was good, it wasn’t do amazing that I would have to come back here for more. I did enjoy the cumin seasoned potato chip appetizers and dip. They were unique and savory. I would need to come back to this place and give it another chance for the food, but all I can say right now is that the service can improve and it’s a good place for drinks.

A local told us about the Pumpkin, he was as right as rain. And, upon arrival the crowds proved the adage to be true. Service was excellent, the staff was friendly and expedient. We started with the fried goat cheese and the pickled red onions made the dish. Our entrée order consisted of the Short Ribs of Beef, NY Strip and the Kobe Burger. They’re were accolades around for all the entrees. Everything was cooked perfectly, including the asparagus. As a tourist destination it had that local feel. I couldn’t be happier! They did a job well done.
