If you don’t want to cook on a Sunday, then do the Sunday brunch. Awesome! The staff works hard to provide a great dining experience. Located on the bay, the views are gorgeous. In the right weather, the tiki bar outside on the waters edge is a great spot to have a drink while you wait for your table. Worth the wait in the busy Summer months. The parking lot is a good size but hard to find a spot at times because the place is so darn popular.

We read reviews and decided to try it out. It was restaurant week and we went with the special and we were not disappointed. The coconut shrimp was amazing and the truffle lobster mac and cheese was amazing. We tried the Russian Cream for dessert and was amazing. We loved the service and enjoyed our night out. I would also recommend trying the Wine Flight great way to try new wine.

We are visiting TC and wanted some fresh fish for dinner. We were not disappointed! Whitefish sandwich was delicious as was the seafood bisque. Tried the ahi tuna, but it wasn’t our thing. Great fresh pesto and bread too! Service was lovely.

The brunch is so good here. It’s expensive but absolutely worth it. The loaded mac & cheese is one of the best things on the buffet, and the carving station has perfect prime rib every time I go there. The service is top notch and the people are friendly.

Always a delightful place to dine. They are know for their fresh fish, as well as their steaks. A relaxed atmosphere, with a large waiting area. The bar area is roomy with booths and a large bar. It is right on Grand Traverse bay, with outdoor seating on the water in the warmer months.

We had a very enjoyable dinner here. I had pan-fried walleye with caper buerre-blanc and asparagus. My partner had a tequila-lime-cream pasta with chicken. Both were just outstanding — beautifully presented too. The house lobster bisque is addicting — after trying a cup I was almost sad that I hadn’t just ordered a bowl and made that my meal — and we also enjoyed the bread and pesto olive oil/bread that’s complimentary.(The restaurant provides local Fustini’s garlic-infused olive oil and balsamic vinegar at each table, which is great.) The menu has many seafood items, but offers a broad range of other choices as well. Our server was friendly, professional and helpful; she did a great job at our table. The restaurant itself is fun — a warm, upscale«up north» interior with a view of Grand Traverse Bay. We’ve driven past this restaurant countless times; we’re so glad we finally decided to give it a try.

Food was good and the ambiance is very nice. Service was very slow. I think our waitress kept forgetting she had our table. Blue cheese dressing is delicious

Service was absolutely amazing, I had a bbq bacon burger which was cooked to perfection. We had bacon wrapped jumbo shrimp as an appetizer and they were savory sweet. They had a great craft beer selection and overall I give it 5 stars and will stop in every time I’m in traverse city. P. S. Our server’s name was Kate and that girl brings her A game!

Very good food. Every person in my party was able to get full from what they ordered. We had fish, pasta, BBQ, soup, bread and other so we made our way around the menu. Prices were a bit high for what we were ordering but still very good. Also, we had to wait over an hour for a table on a Thursday night so be prepared to get there early or wait a long time to eat. Parking can get tricky during this dinner hour as well.

You definitely need to arrive early or don’t even bother trying to park in the lot. We parked across the street and ran across the very busy road. There was a long wait on a Monday night, but we were able to grab spots at the bar. Pretty water views and they did have a more picnic-like outdoor seating area/bar. Be forewarned if you order the pecan crusted whitefish that it could easily feed 2 – 3 people. I’m a small girl and I wish the bartender would have told me the dish was HUGE. I felt bad for not eating it all and since I was on vacation, I wasn’t going to take the leftovers. That being said, the fish along with the cherry sauce was yummy.

We had lunch here on out way up to Sleeping Bear Dunes. They have a small, but good variety of craft beers… great sandwiches too! I recommend the reuben. We left after lunch but this would be a great place to have cocktails on the water front. You can see the water from the open-air dining area, but no food is served on the patio. Overall, a good experience.

Limited parking so if there are no spaces, try across the street opposite the restaurant. No reservations so come early or thirsty.?. Shrimp & lobster bisque French onion soup Pecan chicken salad Grilled Mahi with rice The bisque was perfect! O soup was good but perhaps a little salty Pecan salad was incredibly good The Mahi was good but I found it just a little dry but went well with a s-blanc white wine Good portions and service was friendly and prompt.

After many recommendations from friends to eat at Apache Trout Grill while in town for our anniversary we were not unsatisfied with this visit. The ribs and Apache home fries were, well the picture with just bones left should say enough. This would be a regular place if we lived near here. Hey, maybe one day!!! Highly recommend this place.

The food and portion size served is great for the price. Add that with the amazing view of the bay and the experience is very stunning, especially when they dim the lights during dinner. This place serves wine more than beer.

My mother and I have been coming here for years and have we have consistently always had great food. From steaks to seafood you can’t go wrong with your choice. The salads are excellent as are their sweet potato with a brown sugar glaze and nuts. I tried the Baja tacos with fresh whitefish and it was outstanding. I ended up taking home half of it. Only disappointing thing was my dirty martini was only so so and only ¾ full. At $ 11 there were no olives and it wasn’t that great. The price has definitely gone up over the years but the service and food remain consistently good.

Excellent service, food was sent out quickly, manager was very polite, definitely one of my favorite spots to eat in Traverse City. It’s a little pricey, but worth it. I always get their loaded mac and cheese.
