Timewatch

I needed to have a battery replaced in my watch. They have no signs with prices regarding this and when I asked I was told the price was $ 25.00. Although I thought this was high, I was in a hurry and just wanted to get it taken care of. After a few days, I noticed my watch was losing time and would even stop running for short periods of time. I went back and asked them to check to make sure the battery was good. They touched the watch to some device and said there was nothing wrong with the battery. I ended up purchasing the same watch online & it arrived without a battery. I took both watches to another mall store to have them install the battery. (I couldn’t get the back off myself). I was told the charge to change out the battery would be $ 5.00, they usually charge $ 9.95 for new battery with installation. To add to the frustration, they told me Timewatch had not even installed the correct battery! They just swapped out the batteries and charged me only $ 5.00. I would not recommend Timewatch.

I went to this store to have a watch band repaired on a watch but they were unable to do it because the particular band needed to be replaced by the factory. While there, I purchased another watch ($ 120). The saleslady whom I believe was the owner, adjusted the band on the watch to fit my wrist. It was an adjustable watch band that did not have links so the watch was not altered — just adjusted to fit me. I walked out of the store with it on. I drove home 10 minutes away and took the watch off. I decided that the clasp was not one that I was comfortable with so I returned to the store the next day seeking to exchange for another style with a band that would be more secure. (Keep in mind I was returning my watch to the manufactor so I had to have a watch since that process was going to take 4 – 6 weeks.)
I was denied the refund because the sales person stated I had worn the watch. I reminded her that she put it on my arm and encouraged me to wear it. I had the box, the receipt and the watch did not have a scratch on it anyplace. I wore it 10 minutes. I was not asking for a refund but rather to exchange for another style. The answer was NO. Also, it is worth noting that the sales person was so nice while selling me the watch but very rude when I returned to her store wanting to exchange it.
Based on the fact this retailer does not honor their advertised «return policy» of 30 days with receipt, I would NOT recommend this retailer to anyone nor shop there again.
