Suresh Pattanashetti, DMD

I truly appreciate Dr. Pattanashetti and the dental hygenists there, however the front desk male receptionist was borderline rude and insulting. I don't know if this is his demeanor or just an off day however I can see that this can be a problem in the future for any other patients who are used to coming to the office and not having a bad experience due to front reception.

Was my dentist for 13years. Had a partial back in march of 13. They told me my portion of the cost was $ 436. I paid as agreed IN FULL that day! I called to make my check up appointment in November of 2015 as I do every 6 months and they informed me I owed $ 245 for said partial 2.5 years ago! Apparently, the billing person never submitted it to insurance. Insurance only takes claims for up to one year so now he is trying to make me pay it. I never got a notice, letter, they never informed me over the 2.5 years my family and I attended his office for our cleanings. Nothing. Yet i just checked my credit and its on there since September of 2015. And I was never notified. I feel he is being dishonest and I cannot trust him anymore. Seeking a new dentist.

I found Dr. Pattenashetti about a 1 ½ ago, via Goggle. He is by far, the BEST dentist that I have been to, in my adulthood!!!
His office is easily accessible. The receptionists at the front desk are polite. as well as his dental assistant! The office is very modern and professional looking.
I have received 3 emergency FRONTAL crowns, 1 root canal and Zoom Whitening, under his care. He is extremely gentle and has a very warm bedside-​manner! After visiting, I always receive a follow up call that evening, or the next day, from Dr. Pattanashetti directly! I was initially terrified of going to the dentist, but Dr. Pattenashetti truly has magical hands!!! His work is extremely precise, PAINLESS and done swiftly. I recently had a filling replaced in approximately 10 mins. You can’t beat that!
I always get compliments on my smile. The fact that Dr. Pattenashetti is a cosmetic dentist, has me thrilled! He cares about how is work feels and looks! WIN WIN!

*Validity Statement: Please note that I have moved around way too often in my young life, and unfortunately I have been forced to constantly seek out a new dentist once a year for the past 10. I have had way too many hands in my mouth (other than my own), so I’ve experienced my fair share of dental offices, etc.
As a new client, my first visit involved an initial examination and annual cleaning. Dr. Suresh actually sat down with me and had a 15 minute conversation about all things «my mouth.» He has a wonderfully pleasant personality and is great with people. He gave me great advice and counsel regarding a potential bridge, and answered all of my questions clearly. Once they took some x-​rays they transitioned me to a dental assistant for the cleaning. She was equally polite and efficient. While she cleaned my teeth she shared her observations, asked thoughtful questions, and gave me advice on how to enhance my dental care. By the end of my visit my teeth were clean, and I had more information for better dental care.
What I Liked:
— Beautiful office with ample parking. Plenty of windows and light. Didn’t feel like a dental office.
— Staff was talkative, friendly, and supportive. Everyone was committed to making my visit great.
— Dr. Suresh was friendly, honest, and skilled. Our society often makes the dangerous assumption that any «Doctor» has certain social and industry-​related skills. Dr. Suresh is as personable as he is medically competent.
— Educated their clients. I felt wiser after engaging.
— Free stuff. At the conclusion of the cleaning they gave me a bag with a toothbrush, sample mouthwash, floss, and coupons. Nice!
— Dr. Suresh called me later that day to ask if I had any other remaining questions from my earlier visit. I have never experienced this extraordinary effort in customer service from a dentist before.
What I Didn’t Like:
— My dislikes aren’t specific to Dr. Suresh, but more the experience of visiting any dentist. Poking, prodding, etc.
Dr. Suresh’s office was easily the best dental experience I’ve ever had. I look forward to making him my primary dental care provider, and I’m eager to share the results of more extensive dental work in the future. Clearly this office represents what any private firm should do to be successful in a hyper competitive industry: Try harder and treat their customers with sincerity.

First let me say that I’ve been a patient of Dr. Pattanashetti since 2005. I was referred to him while in MD visiting my sister, and I reside in Florida. I am sixty yrs. old & have been to many dentists over the years, and am amazed with «Dr. P». He puts me immediately at ease & constantly monitors my comfort throughout the entire procedure. One of the most touching things to me, was that each time I’ve been to him, he calls me later in the day to make sure I’m doing well & that my experience in his office from start to finish was a good one. How very professional & impressive in this day of doctors who don’t even seem to listen! Several yrs. ago I was involved in a serious car accident & as a result I experienced major dental trauma. Dr. P. is the ONLY dentist I would even consider to restore my teeth. AND, restore them he did. He was able to salvage 3 of my 28 teeth & gave me 25 porcelain crowns that sparkle like diamonds. For those who are queasy out there {and I know you’re there!} he gives a needle you don’t even feel! Norma assisted chair side & kept touching my arm to console me the whole time I was there. I am an absolute fan of Dr. P. & his staff & would recommend them highly to anyone, ANYWHERE! After all, I came all the way up from FL just to have him as my dentist!!!

Read all of your lovely reviews, checked to make sure he was in my insurance network and badda bing badda boom. I’m excited to have a new dentist. Now I just switched jobs and my dental insurance just kicked in but I hadn’t gotten my card in the mail, I figured no problem I can still make an appointment and between now and then my card will come. I’ve done this before it shouldn’t be a big deal. When I call up the receptionist tells me she won’t make an appointment unless they have all of my insurance information verified up front. I explain the whole thing and say I will call before my appointment and give her all the information, no go. I say I’ll sign up as self pay. no go. Honestly she didn’t care. Sucks I can’t review the dentist because the gatekeeper receptionist sent me away.

dr. patt as i call him is the best of the best i love love the service the staff everything about this dental office is professional, me and my sister have been going here about 3 years, where do you go and the doctor call you to make sure all is well and thats not a one time thing he always calls. so i just want to say thank you all at dr. patt office and i“m a fan for life…

Dr. P’s office, staff and him as a person are very welcoming, and this is a good dental office if all you want is your teeth cleaned. Unfortunately, if you require actual dental work, this is not the place to go. I suffered a great deal at the hands of Dr. P and I can honestly say the work I received from him was the worst I have ever received. I have since found a reliable dentist that does quality work in the Baltimore area, and am slowly having the «work» that Dr. P did corrected… slowly, painfully and at the cost of my pocket book from all the time missed at work, dealing with insurance, and having dental surgery to correct his errors.
I suggest to look around…

I’m so happy I found Dr. Pattanashetti’s office. After a visit to a sad little dentist office the year before, I had to find someone new but I was so nervous b/​c I’ve had hellish dental experiences in the past.
FIRST, I have to say I went with him because of Unilocal reviews! Woohoo! Thanks, y’all!
Before I even visited, I was already thinking I would like this guy. He’d invested in a decent website and actually responded to my inquiry himself! The person who helped me with my appointment was super friendly so that made me feel better about going. I rolled up in there and I knew right away that his staff was happy — you could just tell. I don’t know why that matters to me, but it just does.
The office is huge, modern and clean and every exam room has floor to ceiling windows! Ok, the view is a parking lot… lol. But still! I saw a hygienist first for x-​rays and then met Dr. Pattanashetti. He was so nice and made me feel confident that he knew what he was doing.
Unfortunately, I had to get a crown. Awwwwws. I was so so nervous, I was about to cry. I think the whole staff knew that. They were so nice and gentle. Ok, needles hurt no matter what. But still. I was sure Dr. P’s big ol’ man hands were going to break my jaw, but no! He was gentle and thorough. He gave me time to relax and basically cheered for me the whole time. I survived and went about my day.
What happened next is why I’m writing this: Dr. Pattanashetti called me that afternoon! Himself! Just to see how I was doing. Whoh.
Seriously? I’m never leaving.

I have also had excellent experiences with Dr. Pattanashetti. He is easy to reach, takes time with his patients, it courteous, and always follows-​up. The office is modern and the staff is knowledgeable. I live in Woodlawn and gladly travel across 695 to get to his office. I refuse to go to any other dentist!

I have been going to Dr. Pattanashetti for over five years now and have been very satisfied with his professionalism, expert training, and attentive interpersonal skills. Due to the failure in obtaining quality dental work from prior dentists, I experience plenty of dental needs and have had many dental experiences. Ever since switching to this practice, I have relied on Dr. Pattanashetti’s advise – this approach has worked out very well and I expect this to continue.
I tend to have a lot of questions and Dr. Pattanashetti takes as much time as necessary to explain everything as well as address all of my curiosities and concerns. He is terrific about educating patients on their options and recommending the best treatment plan. He is also really good about getting back to the patient in case of after-​hours dental emergencies. Dr. Pattanashetti even goes the extra mile by calling to check up on the patient after every procedure – from a filling to a crown – to make sure all is well.
In another sign of commitment to the patient, Dr. Pattanashetti is highly mindful of the cosmetic appearance of the work and even sent me to the dental lab where the otherwise highly visible crown would be prepared so they could actually sketch out the exact coloration necessary to have the teeth match precisely! (The lab guy told me that very few dentists go through the trouble of doing this.)
The office staff is friendly and helpful. This practice has the option of nitrous oxide for those particularly nervous patients – but with Dr. Pattanashetti ‘s calm demeanor, I have found this largely unnecessary.
Though I have moved out of Dr. Pattanashetti’s office area, I plan to drive an hour each way to continue going to his practice. If that’s not a sign of an excellent dentist, I don’t know what is!
