Staples

I went to have business cards printed. There was no one else in the print area except a store employee who had their back turned to me for at least five minutes. I was never a knowledged by them and had to call out to be waited on. Their attitude was very poor and unprofessional. The service was poor. I was directed to a computer where I designed the card. Whenever I had a question there was no one available to ask and I had to search out for an employee to help me. Each time it was a different individual. When I completed the computer work there was no one to tell me what the next step was and again I had to find someone else to help .They said it would be four hours for the cards to be printed and that I would be notified. I still haven’t heard from them despite being well beyond the four hours.

I’ve been here many times to drop off prepaid packages. Many of the times I’ve just stood there waiting with being the only person there with no service. No acknowledgement, nothing, so that is why two stars are taken off. However my trip today was very pleasant. I had to print out a label using their email service. You have to forward what you need to be printed to their email address and then you get a confirmation number emailed back, you then go to the store and use their printer and type in the confirmation code. So when I walked in I wasn’t sure what to do since I’ve never had to use this service before. I asked an employee and he walked me over and showed me step my step what do and then even got me a sticky envelope thing to put my label to stick to my package. I was happy and all I want is good customer service and I received it today at Towson Staples.

I was there today to fax some paperwork to my insurance company, I ask the young lady who waited on me if she could help me as I really don’t know how to fax, she took care of everything for me, and I was done in minutes. Thank you Ciera for helping this old lady today.

Was here yesterday. Purchased a network HD. Did not have any problem price-​matching.
But they only had 1 left. So i don’t know how they stocking is here…

A Staples is a Staples is a Staples, right?
Wrong. Yes, they have all the stuff that you expect from a Staples (or a Best Buy or an Office Depot for that matter) but their technicians (don’t know that there’s a name for the Staple’s version of the geek squad) are superior to the geek squad techs that I went to in the city last year. They were fast, efficient, and friendly. They were knowledgeable and didn’t stick the screws to me in terms of price.
Also, Staples always seems to be cheaper in terms of weird batteries, printer ink cartridges, computers, etc. Don’t know how they can be below competition but they consistently are. So, yes, this is where I will continue to take the electronics that my beautiful hubby F’s up beyond my capacity for repair, and I know they’ll continue to save me.

So, Staples is Staples, right? Not a huge deal, it’s good for your basic office supplies, etc. Nothing special, yeah?
I have to give cred to the night manager on duty Saturday 12÷1÷12 — I can’t remember his name for anything, but he helped us out in the networking section when I’d asked him about buying a new device for my Clear Internet account. He was 100 percent honest with me and said, «you can’t do what you need to do».
Now, I’m a dunce when it comes to networking, even though I worked in the industry years ago. But, yeah — that was years ago, heh, so I was depending on this guy to set me straight. And he did. Believe me, I checked.
He could have made me purchase some hundred dollar gizmet that I didn’t need, because I would have if he’d told me it worked. But he was honest with me. That gains a HELL of a lot of points in my book.
O Staples Night Manager of 12/​1, I’ll be sure to return to your store when I need six hundred reams of paper or a value pack of dry erase markers. I promise!

Back to school sales have lost their luster. Just a waste of time.
