Took my car here for inspection after they were recommended by my usual mechanic that doesnt do state inspections. S & L did a SUPERB JOB! A previous shop had requested $ 800 for repairs to complete the safety inspection, it was a scam.
Bill was professional and had my car ready in no time. No additional repairs were required. I will gladly take my car back to S&L.

I never bother writing reviews but I just had to rant about how awful these guys are. They try and rip you off on anything they can think of charging you for. $ 100 to have my car there «taking up space on their lot», and $ 2000 for a list of repairs (most that were unnecessary). They acted like my car was going to fall apart unless I did everything they said to fix. I took my car to another shop all the way in silver spring and was quoted $ 800 for the list of repairs S&L made. Oh and I’m also not charged a $ 100/​day to have my car in this shop.
