I came across iFix2Go while walking in the Towson Town Center this morning. Prior to this I didn’t know this business existed. I had dropped my Samsung S3 cell phone a few months back and shattered the screen. In checking around at the time I received quotes of over $ 130 for a repair. When I was told labor would be only $ 25 at this mall kiosk I was skeptical, but watched as Kendal the technician, repaired an i-pad. He was efficient and looked like he knew what he was doing, so I decided to take a chance. It was the best decision I could have made! He finished the entire screen replacement for my phone while we shopped and the new screen looks great. Just as important, the phone still works perfectly. I highly recommend Kendal’s work but can’t personally speak about any other service people. From what I could tell, however, it looks like the owner(s) are making good hiring decisions. They had lots of work waiting so people seem to be finding this unique location at the Mall..

I dropped my phone off at 3pm today & was told I’d get a call at 7:30pm at my roommate’s number when my phone was repaired. 7:30pm rolled around & after not getting a call I went back to the mall only to see the kiosk shut down with a note saying closed due to illness no one ever contacted me to let me know not to come, or asking if I’d like my phone back for the night. What a wasted trip. I was expecting a 3 hour fix which has now turned intome not having my phone for the night. Not that one day is huge, but still the courtesy of calling would have been appreciated. I asked the kiosk next to Ifix2go, about the other employee working there & she informed me, as well as the security guard who was helping me, that the man I described did not work there, that he is just over there often and hangs out. The reason I thought he worked there was because he was in and out of the drawer where the phones waiting to be fixed are kept. Also, while there the tech told the NONEMPLOYEE to return the piece of a cell phone charger that he took. So, why is a non-employee in and out of the drawer & taking pieces, but better yet why is he allowed to do that when the employees clearly knows what he is doing? I do not like non-employees having access to my phone. The lady at the kiosk over also informed me that other employees were contacted & no one would cover the rest of the sick employees shift. Just shady all around & pretty sad that no one would step up and help out a co-worker/their company when needed. Due to the fact that tomorrow is Sunday I can’t even go in there until 12& then I’ll still have to wait on my phone to be fixed if I even decided that I still want them to do it… Just a terrible, terrible experience. P. s. they’re not very friendly either. Normally, I never take the time to post negative reviews, but this was just ridiculous.
