Good prices on alcohol, pool tables and vape friendly! Definitely a dive bar, so you don’t have to dress up either. I prefer going here after shooting pool at mr. Lucky’s, but minus two stars for the single stall bathroom and limited space.
Drinks are strong, but i recommend ordering basic drinks like crown/​coke or Hennessy/​coke. Don’t come here if you want a complex high end cocktail.
The overall vibe is very laid back, and you can tell that this bar is catered to its’ regulars. If Journey starts blasting through the speakers, more likely than not you’ll hear everyone belt out their own inebriated rendition of the classic. Lol!

Only been there a couple times very crowded good drinks at a reasonable price only negative was the bartender Reagan pretty cocky for a half-​ass bartender and when he’s there he controls the Jukebox if you put money in it and want to hear your music if he doesn’t like it he will skip it and play what he wants.

Great location. Great prices. Good vibes all around. Also the bartender was awesome! If I come back to this area I would come here again

A very local Hawaiian/​Japanese locale. VERY friendly to this Hoale… who can sing her heart out with the homies. I’ve been here so many times and had a great time.

Local bar, cheap stiff drinks! Fun staff. Always a blast. Make sure to über there. One pool table and an electronic dart board and Internet jukebox.

This place has evolved into an OUTSTANDING place to come drink, celebrate, and be with friends. Whether you know them or not. WILL and CHRISTIE are what makes this happen!

This place had a great vibe… there are some foxy ass cougars up in there. Drinks are cheap but it’s cash only. Fun people, good crowd.
Seriously though… It’s like a box of cougars toppled over and they added a bar. I gotta go back; I feel I have unfinished business there.

Great dive bar great crowd and stiff drinks my sister is a regular here and have been asking me to come for months i ran out of excuses and gave this place a try and i must say i came on a thursday night but i couldnt tell what week it was by the large friendly crowd. Seems there are a lot of locals so they automatically spot a fresh face and extend their conversation immediately lol.

This is my favorite bar, Will is the best bar tender! Fair prices and awesome staff, downside is cash only

Definitely best dive bar in the area. You should try the vodka drinks with a splash of whatever. Heck this place will put hair on your chest one way or another.

Come here a lot lately for cheap, strong drinks and damn good fun people. Have literally never had a bad time and the people have never been too rowdy. Just what I like! Cash only though so be prepared for that!

Compared to most dives in San Pedro, this crowd was soo much better than what you come across in town. There were a few iffy/​strange characters, but that comes with being a dive bar and having cheap drinks.
Tried the vulcan mind probe because I saw it on Unilocal,it’s in the family of a mind eraser, Adiós MF … one of those drinks with everything in it.
We left around midnight so it wasn’t super crazy, but I wouldn’t mind coming back one day. It’s just a bit far to really drink at coming from San Pedro.
It has an old 70s vibe and a pool table.

Pros: tallboy tuesday is great for PBR fans
Cons: Austin the bartender. I went to the zebra room on march 3^rd, 2015 to throw a couple back with some friends. Austin, who is usually a bartender at this establishment, was one of the patrons this particular night. Long story short, I step outside to smoke a cigarette and Austin approaches me, obviously drunk, reaches out to shake my hand, then gets in my face about how I need to stop disrespecting the bar and him and bothering all the customers, finally challenging me to a fight. on top of his verbal assault, he was poking my chest and he pushed me against the wall. I work well under these types of circumstances and I calmly asked him what I did to provoke him, as I did nothing at all to disrespect the bar, the staff, or the customers, and no surprise he didn’t have an answer and simply just said «anytime you wanna go, I’ll be ready». I told the working bartender about this and I am not pressing charges because I am chalking this up to drunken stupidity, but the next time I see this behavior either directed at me or anybody else I will nit hesitate to call the police. this guy should be fired.

Primarily a cocktail bar with only bottled beer and frequented by an eclectic mix of walmart freaks, middle eastern ethnics, and low income young white tattooed individuals. Strange place that made me feel uncomfortable in every way.

Good neighborhood bar. Can’t beat this place for a drink on the way home from work. Nice comfortable bar with great drinks at even better prices. Check this place out if you’re tired of overpriced drinks at your current sports bar yet still want to catch your game!

I just want to be honest.
Everyone wants to see a pretty bartender when you go to the bar, right?
Well the real magic here is actually the male bartender (s).
I’ve never had a bad experience here but the one time we went and there was a guy at the bar– we had a BLAST. He knew his whiskeys and IPAs real well and had the full bar in a conversation. We met some new friends there and just enjoyed ourselves. Cool little dive bar. Drinks are decently priced and the crowd is cool. I hate going when it’s packed though. Hipster central! But it’s an awesome place on the weekdays.

Ok, no joke, but every time I go to the Zebra Room (or Z, as we so affectionately call it) something crazy happens. Someone ends up crying or getting into a fight or getting pulled over or making out with strangers… you know, typical drunken shenanigans. Don’t get me wrong, I love the Z because drinks are stiff and cheap and it’s one of the few bars in the area that actually stays open all the way till 2am.
It’s very close to my work, so it’s easy for me to go there and grab a beer after work. But it’s also easy for me to get totally hammered and not remember most of the night. But that’s just the magic of the Z. I just know before I go that it will probably be that kind of night. Can’t call that a good thing, but can’t really call it bad either.
Drawbacks: Cash only. Divey (unless you like that). No food (unless you count snack size bags of Doritos.)

Bar mit Billardtisch. Zu später Stunde darf hier noch (heimlich) geraucht werden. Hier kann man wunderbar versacken bei Musik aus der Jukebox und nachbarschaftlicher Atmosphäre.
