Village Family Dental

I’ve yet to find an authentic/​accurate rating for a dentist on Unilocal… reviews are either 5-​star (really?) or 1-​star (traumatic experience). Since I tend toward traumatic experience when I visit the dentist twice a year, I can recommend 1 specific dentist at Village Family Dental… he only works on Tuesdays at the Sepulveda office. The dental hygienist is also very considerate of highly sensitive teeth, providing extra topical numbing to get me through the procedure.

DO NOT USE THIS DENTIST!
I went there to get a tooth pulled and when the dentist (I BELIEVE HE’S AN OWNER) was pulling my molar, he moved it side to side because it was hard to get out and I heard a crack on another molar but didn’t realize at the time that he had in fact broke my other molar in half! I was such an idiot because when I went the next day to tell him what happened he led me to believe that it was already like that and I’m such an idiot that I believed him and didn’t do anything about it except paid thousands of dollars somewhere else to have a crown made!

I was trying to call to make a apointment and i was put on hold way too long so I gonna find a differnt dentist good thing i researched them seems like a bunch of losers some creepy mexican guy answered sounded unprofesional

Sorry about all the negative comments. I like these guys, been coming to them for years! Never any problem. 4 stars because of the dinky parking spaces outside !!!

My dental insurance company directed me to this place, and the receptionist on the phone lacks customer service skills.
I haven’t even come into this office, and I already think it’s horrible!

Very unprofessional receptionist. Horrible customer service. I was very very disappointed on how they treat their patients. I will never ever recommend this dental office to anyone.

Oh my goodness, I have gone to this dentist for the past year and I would NEVER EVER recommend that anyone go here! Why?
1. Very unprofessional RECEPTIONIST
(Whenever you call, they immediately interject (without even LISTENING to the reason of the call) and then put you on hold… this is very irritating reason is that they are very busy…
Apparently, the QUANTITY of patients SUPERSEDES their QUALITY of service… which leads me to my 2^nd point…
2. The DOCTOR missed my cavity –even AFTER AN XRAY!!! Seriously-​most people don’t like going to the dentist anyway…
I explained my symptoms to the doctor only to be told to stop doing whatever was causing the discomfort… um…you go to medical school to say that???
Gimme a break. I’m going elsewhere where the dentist pays attention to details, listens to patients, and actually has empathy.
3. They said it cost $ 35 to get a copy of medical records… that’s price gouging as far as I’m concerned I’m sooo done with the place… don’t waste your time with Village Family Dental-it’s not worth it.
