02/05/2016 — Fist time here: Menu bites: Crispy chickin(meh) Mondo nachos(me likes) First time here. It’s quaint, kinda soothing, and relaxing. Not a lot of patrons here but the double doors swung open many times before we left so it was busy. It’s decent food but pricey. If you’re looking for healthy food, this is a good start. Just find the best item that’s right for you. The menu might be intimidating for a newby but stick with it. It’s good for you.

Food is only okay, not great, not excellent just okay. But very pricey for what it is, I’ve eaten here four times and also at the very first day they opened up, but I tell you what, this time I’m very disappointed and say to myself I will never come back here again

How did I not know this location existed?! I’ve been going to the el segundo location for some time now but I happened to stumble across this location tonight and I’m so happy I l did! The«wings» were delish. My little sister had no idea they were meatless! The fries took me by surprise. They had to of been some of the best I’ve ever had! I ordered the portobello sandwich– tasty but messy. My friend got the crab cake sandwich & he loved it. What stood out the most, however, was the service. The guys working the front tonight took outstanding care of us. I’ll definitely be coming back(:

My coworkers and I just had an amazing lunch from Veggie grill in honor of our coworker who is vegan. Everyone loved it. Let me start by saying I called Velma about 5 different times with questions and some issues we had with ordering. She was AMAZINGLY patient. Never made me feel bad for calling back. That made it a lot easier to place the order. Everyone was satisfied even those that never had Vegan Chickn before. Three people got the buffalo bomber and all loved it. I had the Kale Caesar and Kale soup which also was delicious. Others got the Crispy Cauliflower, Chikn Sandwich, Mac and Cheese, Crab Cake sandwich and the Hail Caesar and Quinoa salad. All were delicious. Again a MAJORMAJOR shout out to Velma for her assistance and patience. GREAT experience and can’t wait to eat there again.

Veggie & Vegan Goodness I love places like VG. Their food is usually very fresh, thoughtfully crafted, and flavorful. The diversity is refreshing and atmosphere is welcoming. The properly trained staff is always such a delight to deal with. Love the food, love the vibe, and love the concept. I cannot rave enough about how much I dig places like this. The only thing that really gets me is the price point. Yes, a lot of the time it is understandable. Quality and kosher aspects in mind– I get it! I just can’t justify coughing up more than $ 10 for a semi-small sized salad, let alone an Andrew Jackson+ when I add a few other side items like a drink, dessert, and fries. That’s the only reason why I gave them, a still rockin, 4-star rating. You must still choose an item at your own risk!!! Even though their stuff is UHHH-MAZE-ING-LY yummy, all types of veggie dishes can still be fattening or «bad for you.» Use your better judgment, silly kids ;)

I used to really like this place. The time I had tried to eat here before this time, the person at the cash register was having small talk for over 5 minutes while I waited in line. Another 5 minutes went by before I walked out. This visit, I got a mexi-mini wrap that was pretty much all flour tortilla. The inside of the wrap had almost nothing in it, and it was not wrapped properly so everything was falling/dripping out of the bottom. They didn’t appear to be busy at the time but my order was put together sloppily and carelessly. I’m pretty disappointed.

Great food, excellent space for us(with the little kids) and it’s a healthy alternative to the usual heavy fare at lunch time.

SERVICE The guy with the Victoria tattooed on his arm has always been really friendly eveytime ive come to this location. FOOD Tried the thai wrap, BOMB. My fries tho, not so good. They were very cold as if they had been sitting there for a while. My fiancé had the portobello mushroom burger. mind you I hate mushrooms but I decided to try it anyway… to my surprise it was good, had a distinctive flavor and was really juicy. PRICE I would have to say that its a bit overpriced for the amount of food you get.

I’ve been to many different Veggie Grills and this was just… meh. The portions were smaller and tasted much different than I’ve experienced at other VGs. The service was also really poor. We ordered a starter, but it came last. Also, there was a couple that ordered ahead of us, but got their food about 10 – 15 minutes AFTER ours and I felt bad. Honestly… probably won’t be visiting this VG again.

My friend Laila & I went here last night for dinner. There were a couple groups, but a good level of crowded if that makes sense. She ordered the Buffalo Bomber. I couldn’t decide between the Papa’s Portobello and the BTLA. The cashier suggested the BTLA& it was really good. I also tried Laila’s and it was pretty tasty as well. I also like the Yukon Gold Fries, the seasoning added an extra yum hahah. Serving size was pretty filling for Laila and me. I recommend this place to anyone really, even if one isn’t vegan like myself. Whether you’re just trying something new or not it’s definitely somewhere to put on your eatlist! I plan to come back and try Papa’s portobello :-)

Went there once and never again. We love vegetarian food, but here the ambience was not good– felt like a dive. The roasted vegetables were not good, maybe they’ve improved but not taking a chance. The yam fries were good.

When you first walk inside this Veggie Grill, it has a bright, fun, very graphic-design-y feel to the place. You can check out the menu board and then get in line to order at the counter. Then they will take your order to the table for you, or you can always order it to go(for faster to go orders, they also do phone ahead). All I can say about this place is that it is excellent. MY favorite item is the Santa Fe Crispy Chick’n sandwich. It is made with wheat meat that is surprisingly delicious and filling. Other favorites of mine include the Chipotle Chick’n sandwich, and the Papa’s Portobello burger. Kids meals are available here, and they do have some gluten free options for those who cannot have gluten. They have sparkling water, tea, and lemonade options to drink here as well. In addition to burgers and sandwiches, they also have an array of soups and salads for you to try. To finish off your meal, they do have several desserts, including some of the best carrot cake I’ve ever had! I absolutely love this place!

One of my favorite locals! As much as I call myself a carnivore, there are days when too much meat means… too much meat. That’s when Veggie Grill comes in, with their fabulous menu that doesn’t make you feel like you’re eating rabbit food. It’s a great place for lunch, as it has a great«hangout» atmosphere. The inside is very large, and there’s a great patio for more seating. Veggie Grill always has cute décor as well, as they’re into the retro/chic look. I love that the menu is very large and you can just order so many yummy dishes! I’ve tried a lot of items, but my top three are: Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Buffalo Wings, and the Mac and Cheese. First, the signature Crispy Chicken Sandwich is amazing! You can’t even tell that the chicken is not real, and it’s so savory and goes well with the rest of the sandwich. I especially really like the bun it comes with. The buffalo wings are great and not too spicy. It’s a great appetizer, and even though the portions are a lot smaller than I expected them to be, I was very satisfied. The Mac and Cheese is by far, my favorite side dish! I get it every time I come, and I love that the cheese isn’t too heavy and blends well with the healthy rice pasta! And the sweet potato fries are a MUST here. Overall, a top-notch place to try if you’re «trying» to be healthy. Veggie Grill gets people exposed to superfood, like kale and quinoa, in a great way! And if you’re like me, who likes to explore lots of food(which also means unhealthy at times), this place is a great break from that! 47⁄100

Love this place. We love almost everything on the menu. I love tofu & this place is my heaven. I have their app on my phone & I get points every time we eat there. I love their drinks specially the ginger caffeine free one. It’s so delicious. We always get the buffalo wing, kale salad & Santa Fe chicken sandwich but love everything else on the menu too. The staff are friendly & nice & the restaurants is clean & well maintained. I just learned they do catering, great option for birthday parties.

My coworker introduced me to Veggie Grill and I just fell in love with it! I love the whole feel of the restaurant when I come in to order. It’s a simple order and sit down place and very affordable. They have organic soaps in their bathroom and the best part is, it’s all very healthy food! I always get their Bombay bowl since I love curry. The food is always presented very nicely and the flavors are amazing! Of course the flavors are, they don’t serve meat! If you ever want to eat a guilt-free meal, go to Veggie Grill!

I finally made it back to Veggie Grill and it was just as good as I remember. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating which I enjoyed. Service is great, the food is all made to order and always super fresh and tasty. Not a huge fan of their«chicken» but all of the veggie dishes are fantastic! My favorite, as always the fried cauliflower with the out of this world good sweet and sour sauce they serve it with, my go to item each time I am here. Prices and portions are fair, quality great, so glad to have places to cater to veggie lovers like myself!

I used to eat here a lot. Went through my vegetarian phase and this is definitely some of the best vegan food I’ve had. There was a time when I was eating here almost every day. I love the Santa Fe Crispy Chicken wrap. BOMB. I understand that they use top ingredients but pricing is still pretty high. I guess that’s what you get when going to a specialty food store. The food is still good though. Most of the dishes are not low in calories. Just because it’s vegan does not make it low fat/low cal. If you’re into trying new things or are vegetarian or vegan, you gotta try this place for sure!

This place is pretty good. I ordered the portobello mushroom with fries. It was very filling and yummy. My boyfriend had the sante fe chicken sandwich… I likes his more than mine. His had guacamole on it! Maybe that was why haha. Food came at a decent time, and their teas are yummy! I really liked the green tea pomegranate, had to keep refilling my drink! Inside has a lot of seating and also the outside has a spacious patio area with seating as well. Parking is never an issue here, its in a big plaza and located right next to a parking structure. I will coming back to try other dished they have forsure!

I know exactly where I will be going for delicious kale salad — it will be at Veggie Grill. Veggie Grill offers various salads, bowls /plates, and burgers /sandwiches. All items here are meat-free and more than half of items on the menu are gluten-friendly. So if you see the word«chicken», those are«fake» meat(made from non-GMO soybeans). Pick-a-pair(Sweetheart Fries + All Hail Kale, $ 8.25 + tax): For pick-a-pair, you can pick 1 out of 11 different sides + a choice of ½ salad(Savory Kale Caesar, Fresh Little Salad, Thai Chicken, or All Hail Kale). Sweetheart fries is just another for sweet potato fries. Personally, it was one of the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had(chipotle ranch dipping sauce was so amazing). On the other hand, All Hail Kale tasted unexpectedly delicious with its mildly sweet kale and crunchy walnut. Veggie Grill = yummy food with fairly reasonable price(at least for the quality that you are getting).
