I love how Mona does my eyebrows and its definitely a plus that they are affordable and that Mona is a very sweet and joyful person. There are so many threading places out there but its hard to find a place that combines quality plus great customer service.

This is the only place I trust to get my eyebrows done that isn’t in the valley or Northern California. They always look perfect, clean and even. IF you have thick brows they look perfect when you get them threaded if the people know what they are doing. And they def do here. Their waxing services are also good. The new place is very clean and spacious. Beware it gets packed on the weekends.

I like this place a lot. I have very sparse eyebrows, and whenever i get my eyebrows done here, not only do they look clean but they also end up looking more full, which I really appreciate. My only reservation is that of the dozens and dozens times I have been here before, there WERE two times when after getting threaded, my face broke out. Both times, it was after I got threading done on my upper lip area. I don’t know why, but if I get threaded there, my face breaks out. Also, be sure to ask for Mona for consistent quality. The other older lady is good sometimes, but at other times the brows come out uneven or thin. There is also another younger lady sometimes, who straight up does not do a good job. On average however, I really like this place, and I especially love Mona.

After growing my eyebrows out for 2 months I researched the best reviewed eyebrow locations and decided to come into Thread Beauty based on the reviews and photos of the work. Panu did an amazing job with my brows and I absolutely loved them! They were perfect!
2 – 3 weeks later (today) I came in and saw Panu to get them cleaned up. I was soooooo disappointed when she was done because she completely took away the beautiful shape she had created previously and gave me eyebrows without the defined arch I worked so hard to achieve. Worse yet, my two brows didn’t even match! One was rounded on the inside while the other was square. One was also notable thicker Than the other and they had different arches. I pointed this out to her and she was like ‘ohhh’ and went to work. I noticed she was taking away a lot of hair so I pointed to the area I was concerned with again and explained again. She said she knew and kept going. When she was done I looked in the mirror and there was no change in the area I was really concerned with and she just make by brows thinned and shorter :(she tried one more time before asking Mona to fix them. Mona tried but the damage was done and my beautiful full brows were just getting sparser and sparser. I left completely disappointed that I have to start this whole process over again and I leave for vacation in only 1 month :(
Update: a couple days later I just took a closer look and realize that my eyebrow is full of sores from her cutting me. not okay. Horrible experience and I do not recommend them.

Cool place, would come again. Only one person working today because the other lady went on vacation. It got busy towards 2:00PM. Eyebrow threading was $ 9+ tip.

Unilocal challenge 2016 (⁴⁰⁄₁₀₀)
This might be my go-​to brow place in Torrance. I usually go to Ziba at SB Galleria but it’s just so expensive! I don’t usually get my brows done as much as I should but this time I definitely needed to get them done. My favorite place is in Fountain Valley. I remembered I went to their location in Del Amo once before I came to this new location by Phở Hana.
I forgot the name of the lady who did mine, but she did such a great job! They were nice and thick just how I wanted it and I didn’t even have to ask.
It’s $ 9 for brows and $ 6 for upper lip.

I’ve been going to Mona for some years. I used to drive to the mall just to get my eyebrows done. Now I will follow Mona to their new location. Not another soul can touch these brows, Mona is the best!

Man these bad boys above my eyes needed some serious help! Haven’t gotten them done in over a month and Unilocal saves the day again!!! This little gem is hidden in the corner of a plaza. The same plaza as Phở Hana. Be sure to keep an eye out for it or you might miss it.
Walked in, was greeted and seated right away. When you walk in, instead of writing your name down like most threading salons you punch in your phone number on this iPad on the counter. You then select the services you need done. The lady was extremely nice and since it was my first time here she walked me through the steps. It’s pretty much a loyalty program and you get free threading on your X visit. I forgot the exact number.
My brows haven’t looked this good in a while! I love the shape and therefore I think I’ll become a regular. :)

IMHO Panu and Mona run the best independently-​owned business in the South Bay. The crew at The Thread Beauty are quick, meticulous and always have my eyebrows on fleek! They are good at waxing too. Panu and Mona always greet me like I’m a long lost friend. When I was sick, Panu got worried and suggested a warm water, lemon and spices as a remedy. Their new location at 22 823 Hawthorne Blvd. by Phở Hana Restaurant, is as clean and elegant as their old spot at Del Amo Mall. It’s too bad that the glitzy mall makeover forced some small businesses out.

Mona is moving starting March 1^st to 22 823 Hawthorne Blvd in Torrance! I follow her everywhere she goes because she is so great! No other eyebrow place compares to her because aside from the great prices, she is quick and gives you exactly what you asked for, I have never been disappointed before! Thank you Mona for being so kind and attentive to my needs!

Mona is fast, friendly and on point. The right kinda point that is.

One of my favorite places to get my eyebrows done. My eyebrows always look clean. They increased their process to $ 9 for eyebrows and they use a tablet for signing in now.

Love, love, LOVE this place. I normally get my brows threaded by the same person that’s been doing them for the past decade but I decided to try a new spot in South Bay. As a new client I was a little hesitant especially since the location wasn’t on the modern side of the shopping plaza. However sometimes I find that the best places are the ones that you least expect.
So don’t be fooled by the dilapidated 80s appeal of this side of the Del Amo Mall especially since it’ll be updated soon.
This brow spot was pristine in nature and the customer service was on point. My brows were in dire need of proper shaping after I had allowed them to grow out. Within minutes I went from unibrow mayhem to perfection from brow to toe.
I really enjoyed my experience. The prices are crazy low and the quality is beyond what you’d expect.
When I’m in the area, I’d definitely come here for proper brow grooming.

They always mess up my eyebrows. I used to like them but then they started rushing the service. Either they took too much hair out or missed some places.

Got my brows done today. I usually see Panu but she wasn’t there&I’ve seen so many people raving about Mona so I decided to give her a try. OMG. It literally took her 2 minutes to do my brows with minimal pain if any&they look great! Now I see why everyone loves her, she may have stolen me away from Panu lol. While I’m raving about them I must say that I completely disliked the work of the girl in the last chair. I saw her once before&will never let her touch my brows again. She kept accidentally pulling my actual hair on my head, my brows were uneven&very thin, annnnnd she slapped my nose. Idk how that even happened but I was like wtf because I didn’t get an apology. I have no idea what her name is but my advice to everyone. stick to Mona or Panu!

Before i found this place, i could never find a steady place to get my eyebrows done. Finally i came across this place and i’m glad i did! I’ve been coming here for almost a year now and ive never been let down. I always go to Mona. She is amazing and she always does a great job on my eyebrows. She takes her time and makes sure they look good. The prices are pretty good with $ 9 for eyebrow threading and $ 18 for eyebrow/​lip/​chin. If youre looking for a threading place, you should definitely come here.

I have been growing out my eyebrows for 6 weeks, and ladies we all know how trying that process can be! I finally got my eyebrows long and bushy to achieve the best shape they deserved. I usually see Mona, but she wasn’t in so I made the 1^st must she by not walking out and coming back when she was available. I took a seat at the 1^st chair. I mean I always see her chair busy so she can’t be horrible. Why not? I showed the threader a picture of the the shape I wanted (full, long sides, great shape for my face). I even made mention that I’d been growing them out just to achieve this shape. She assured me «she’s got this».
15 minutes later and I have two butchered eyebrows that are two different shapes and have huge gaps in them!!! These aren’t even close to what I showed her AND my eyebrows looked better when I first walked in there. I am LIVID! She told me «you’ll need to grown them out and come back to fix» in regards to the gaps/​bald spots she left in my eyebrows. NO! I will NEVER be back! Now I’m searching for someone to fix this mess on my face!

I always get my brows done there, there was a lady that I have never seen there before and she did absolutely amazing I’m so happy. I think she was new because I have never seen her before. But she did a very good job and I am happy I went to her. I think she will be my new eyebrow lady. Mona is also amazing. And so is the other lady. They are all very good.
Okay. My most recent visit was terrible. I now know the Mona really truly knows my brows and her mother. The younger lady took off so much and made plenty of bald spots. I am so disappointed. The only good thing is my eyebrows grow back fast. But unfortunately I will never go back to that lady.

Love coming here! They do a quick job & the outcome is always great! I am definitely a loyal customer to them.
Also price for eyebrow threading has gone up– still decent price for the work they do. It says $ 8, but it’s actually $ 9, and completely worth it.
