This is definitely one of the nicest senior retirement homes in the South Bay Area. My grandparents have been at this location for many years now and they enjoy it. I have also volunteered here for many hours and the service is excellent. Keep in mind this is a retirement home so they do not have any nurses on staff. They have many amenities for the residents to enjoy. They have movie nights, game nights, a pool table, koi pond, computers, library, barber shop, putting green and a full dining area. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner here. The dining area is a full service«restaurant». They have waiters/waitresses to deliver food and drinks. They also provide bus rides to dr. appointments/grocery shopping. The staff here is amazing. All of them are so friendly and they know all of the residents names. It gives it that personal touch an you don’t get the feeling of «you’re just another person in this facility.» They always have someone at the front desk. All the doors get locked up at sun down so you know the location is safe. They offer 1 and 2 bedroom apartment style units. My grandparents had a 1 bedroom unit an it was on the border of close to $ 5,000 per month. When you walk in, you step into a room that is a combo of your kitchen and living room. You also have a connecting balcony from this room. The bedroom is located to the side and that is where the bathroom and a walk-in closet is also located. If I had to guess, the place is around 500 sq. feet. Keep in mind that since this the nicest senior living place in the area and the cost is pretty high. IMO, if you can afford it, this is a great place to live out your golden years.
