Neil Bhayani, MD

I went in to see Dr. Bhayani because they found a mass on my liver, after having a biopsy they couldnt really give me a diagnosis, they said in order to get a real description of what the mass was I needed a liver resection. When I went to see Dr. Bhayani for a consult on the liver resection he assured me that all would be well and I would get through this as if nothing ever happen he made me feel very comfortable. He explained in specific detail what a liver resection procedure was, I like that he didn’t sugar coat things but his caring attitude made me feel at ease especially since I was very nervous about the whole situation and thought of major surgery.

My mother is elderly with mild dementia and after being seen by multiple (some downright bad) doctors, Dr. Bhayani was on call one day and saw my mother at the hospital. He took time to review nearly 1 month of records and multiple procedures and explained in clear terms what and why my mother needed for a clear path to recovery. I am one who asks lots of questions and he takes time to explain without dumbing down or brushing you off. I like that he sees the patient’s recovery holistically and not just surgically. He caught things that no other physician saw and eventually we adopted his recommendation and as a result, my mother is on a good path to recovery. Even other doctors we spoke to thought Dr. Bhayani is a very smart and good doctor and that says a lot. If you need a surgeon and especially if you have cancer, Dr. Bhayani is a great conscientious surgeon with equally good bedside manner to take care of the issue once and for all.

Dr Bhayani was professional and personable. My wife, Kathleen sufers from dementia and Dr Bhayani explained everything about my Wife’s surgery to our satisfaction. Could not have been happier with this experience.

Dr Neil Bhayani was outstanding in hernia surgery performed on me in November 2014. He was thorough in explaining the procedure, very professional in all aspects and was very personable and caring in dealing with me as his patient. I did not require any pain medication upon leaving the outpatient center the day of surgery and the healing process was impressively short. I was back to tennis in 3 weeks. I was very pleased with the medical services provided by Dr Bhayani and would highly recommend him.
