Lovely Nails and Spa

Let me start off by saying I am VERY picky about my nails. That’s not to say I speak up very much in salons, I usually try to chime in if the shape I’m looking for isn’t going the right direction or if a nail is crooked but eventually just give up on the salon and try to find a new one. After going to and trying around 10 different salons in the South Bay Area, I realized there’s really only one good technician at each one and requesting an appointment is usually difficult.
When it comes to Lovely Nails, I don’t even have to request a name. I’ve seen pretty much every nail technician at Lovely’s and they’ve all impressed me! And the best part — for ladies who get acrylic — is that the nails LAST. Never have I been to a nail place where each and every time I go, the full set doesn’t lift or grow out horribly after a week or so. My Lovely nails last up to 3 weeks without needing a refill or full set. Which is probably why this place is ALWAYS packed, except for during regular work hours on the weekdays but my schedule doesn’t allow for that kind of luxury.
Tip: call in advance and schedule appointment for a speedy nail trip :)

Recently purchased an investment property in the area where now most of my time is spent in Torrance. I’ve moved nails salons on a few times in the past 10years of regularly getting my nails done every other week.
This type of time investments needs to be well spent. I’m so impatient. I walked into this gem of a nail salon my boyfriend found on Unilocal.Thank you Unilocal!
I finally got to try the new «Coffin Ballerina Nails» everyone is raving about. I love my new nails and new nail salon. I’ll definitely be coming back.

I needed a set of horribly done acrylics (from a different salon!) taken off and tried out this place! I was placed with Holly; she is very sweet and knows exactly what she’s doing. They were my first set of acrylics ever so I was pretty disappointed that they turned out bad. Holly assured me that the next time I get a new set, she’ll definitely do better than the other salon. She stayed true to her word! I asked for stiletto nails and she made sure to shape my nails the way I wanted them and took her time with the color too. My nails turned out great! I paid $ 50 for a full set with gel polish and for 2 nail designs.
Overall satisfied! Took off one star because I got a cut from when she was filing :(she was very apologetic and made sure to be more careful. Definitely recommend this place and Holly!
I also got her sister, Lena for my toes and she did an amazing job! She picked out the color for me and I loved it!!!

Got gel mani, pedi along with hand and feet treatment, also waxing here. We called to make an appointment earlier, got there a bit late, it was packed, that’s a good sign, means lots of returning customers.
The selections of gel colors were overwhelming, just TOO many! I decided on some winter rich colors finally. Hubby and I were sitting next to each other while getting our nails done, it was fun! I liked the waxing too, the wax wasn’t too hot like some other places, the lady was very thorough and detailed, did a great job. Guess I will be returning for future waxing too.
Good services with good prices, a decent salon in the hood!
