Benefit Brow Bar at Macy’s

Now they finally have a brow specialist!!! I was so thrilled this service was now available. Her name is Stacy, she’s available Tuesday’s, Wednesday and Sunday’s. But her schedule can change. I would call in advance. I happen to be shopping for other things and just stopped by and got lucky. She was free and was able to do my eyebrows. I was a little sad after I saw my eyebrows. I felt naked!!! I had to pretend I liked them. But as I walked out of the Macy’s and saw them in the light I was like damn they look great!!! She kept my shape, cleaned out all the little hairs, and made my face look clean. I will be going back ;)

Can’t believe it. I made an appointment over the phone for a brow wax & show up only to find their cosmetologist is out on leave for a MONTH?! Why did you let me make an appointment then?! I asked this to the woman and she said the person who made the appointment probably didn’t know. That’s no excuse. Train your employees. Very very upset. Will not return.

I have been deciding on whether or not to return to the Manhattan Beach Benefit to do my brows considering Karina got promoted. I took a chance with Del Amo since the reviews on Unilocal were positive. Melody was great. She took me right away and even trained under Karina which made me a lot less anxious. My brows turned out amazing. I love them and will definitely be back!

I needed someone to fix my uneven eyebrows so I decided to give Benefit Brow Bar a try last December. Melody took care of me. After my first visit, my eyebrows looked so much better. I’ve been going to her ever since. Melody is amazing!!! After a few months my eyebrows finally looks great.

Really wish I didn’t waste my time making an appointment if it meant I had to wait 40 minutes after being told Id only have to wait 10.

After looking for a good place to shape my brows, I decided to go to this Brow Bar location. I wanted to get them cleaned up before my wedding makeup trial later this evening.
I am so unhappy and disappointed in the results. The artist recommend me tint my brows and I was really hesitant but said yes as I’ve never done them and she assured that I would look very natural. However, after she wiped off the tint, she got a bunch of makeup remover in my eye and down my face into my mouth, which caused my eyes to sting really badly. THEN she had the nerve to say that I must be really nervous because I was sweating so she was having trouble putting the brow make up on afterwards! I wasn’t sweating, my eye was watering being it was stinging so badly.
Then she proceeded to put some kind of concealer to my brow but then wiped them off. She said she was going to hand me off to one of the other girls to put my brow make up on. I told her no need because I was already extremely frustrated and my eyes felt like they were on fire. Then I looked at myself in the mirror and my brows were way too dark and dramatic (exactly what I told her I didn’t want) because I don’t wear makeup everyday. She even make them uneven and got tint in between my eyes and told me «not to worry about it.»

Now my wedding make up trial is ruined because my eyebrows are way too dark and I am so disappointed with Benefit as I am a long time user of many of their products. but I will never go to another Brow Bar again if they deem this quality of work as acceptable. I am now out $ 40 (and trying desperately to rub off this tint) when I could have just paid $ 10 to get my brows threaded at the place I normally go to. Do not come here if you are just looking for a natural tinting!

The best brow guru !!! Book an appointment and make your eyebrows look amazing. The girls at Benefit are friendly and do a great job. This is my third time back and I’m a customer for life. They also offer great brow tips and suggest products you can use to make your eyebrows look their best.

I found myself a new eyebrow artist. I was not disappointed in least! Every time, and I mean EVERY TIME, has disappointed me, not this time. Very impressed with the level of service I was provided, despite not having an appointment. I will be back for sure, and going forward, with an appointment.
