Walking in wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with my hair, color roots or color and add some highlights. Nicole started by suggesting a few options. So I said you are the professional do what you want to do, 2 hours later I was a red head with beautiful highlights. Thank you Nicole for your excellent talent. You are the Queen of Color.

The worst salon I’ve been to. Made an appointment, had to wait half an hr. Had a coloring I believe who was the manager, it came out terrible, it was not what I asked for. I wanted a deep burgundy red but I did not get that, U can only see some tint when I go out in the sun. Not to mention I had virgin hair. I went to Walmart after and bought a box and my hair came out bright and vibrant. Very disappointed CUZ I paid a lot of money for something I could’ve done better with a box dye. Fast forward months later silly me I decided to give them another chance to get a haircut. A blond young lady did my hair, I’m very specific with my hair, length and style. It took her less than 5 mins to cut my hair, a trim here a trim there, very disappointed CUZ i had a lot of hair to work with. Not coming back for a third visit, I’ve learned my lesson thank you very much. Not coming back

I really love the results of my partial foil blonde highlighting! The only reason I’m not giving this salon 5 stars is because the woman who was originally supposed to do my hair asked me if I could reschedule once I came in, even though I had made an appointment in advance, which was really frustrating
However, after explaining my situation (that I was on vacation and really wasn’t able to come back another time), the owner offered to do my hair instead. The owner Katrina was lovely, and super accommodating. Katrina’s great work made up for my original frustration. The woman who shampooed my hair and helped Katrina out was also lovely, but unfortunately I forgot to ask her for her name. I would go back to Shear Glamour when I’m in town, as long as I can schedule my appointment with Katrina!

I walked in for a haircut with no appointment on a weekday afternoon and waited only a few minutes before being taken back for a shampoo. The décor is cozy, yet modern with rich colors and fabrics. It was a pleasant shampoo experience and friendly stylist. She brought me to her station and asked what I wanted. I love the dressers at each stylist’s station. Great idea.
As always, I was unsure of specifics of the cut I wanted and just instructed her to cut a lot of length off my hair. We started with a cut that was conservatively longer than I had been thinking and when I asked her to go shorter she did so without objection or any hint of annoyance. I walked out feeling «done», didn’t feel like I had overpaid for the cut/​style and willing to return when the time comes to get my next cut.

The girls at Sheer Glamour are wonderful! I started going there when it first opened, and I won’t go anywhere else. The salon is very beautiful and elegantly decorated. Everyone who works there is super sweet and friendly, and even though I definitely do not get my hair done as often as I should, they always remember you and know what you like done to your hair.
A lot of times when I would go to get highlights touched up at other places, the hair stylist would just add new highlights, and I’d eventually just have blonde hair. That has never happened since I started going to Sheer Glamour. The girls actually touch up your highlights — not just add more.
I trusted Sheer Glamour to do my wedding day hair and makeup, as did most of my giant bridal party and visiting guests. The morning of my wedding, there was at least a dozen other people who were either in my bridal party or going to my wedding getting hair and/​or makeup done at the salon. Everyone looked amazing, including me — even though I cried with excitement during the ceremony and danced like crazy during my reception, none of my makeup ran or smudged, and not one hair was out of place. What was even more amazing was that my head didn’t feel like a thousand pins were stabbing me, or that my hair was pulled too tight.
But probably my favorite thing about the salon is its charity events. Several times a year, the salon with have cut-​a-​thons, feather extensions, or a number of other specials you can buy and the proceeds go to one charity or another. Personally, I love knowing that I look good and my money is going towards helping others.
I just can’t say enough good things about this place. I don’t know anyone who hasn’t gone back after going once!
