My most recent visit was what I have come to expect at Ocean Eye Institute, friendly, professional, and thorough. If you have to wait, it’s because the patients are not rushed thru a quick exam, no short cuts. I leave there confident my vision has been thoroughly checked. My family and I have been going to Ocean Eye Institute for over 10 years, and we will continue to do so.

Beware they told me my aunt and several friends that they have glaucoma, the same exact type too! My aunt had the surgery! I got a second opinion. I don’t have glaucoma! I’m not sure what’s going on there, but if you go get a second opinion!

I’ve recently relocated to Toms River, obtained new vision insurance and needed a vision exam. I was pleasantly surprised to book an appointment in the same week and was seen immediately after arriving at the office. The staff at Ocean Eye Institute is very friendly and helpful, especially the back office assistant, Jessica. I was very impressed by Dr. Daniel J. Brooksbank, O.D., who was friendly, efficient and informative! I highly recommend this office to anyone needing an eye exam!

I agree, not the fastest at keeping appointments. also do your own research on what you will be billed because even though they take your insurance information no checking is done and they do not tell you that they dont take it. they wait until you are leaving to let you know how much you owe. definately not the friendliest office staff either, especially the checkout woman.

Ocean Eye Institute is very good at making appointments … But not very good at keeping appointment. At 3:10 PM, I walked out if the office after waiting 40-​minutes. CANNOT RECOMMEND this group
