Massage Haven

I receive massage therapy monthly, but went to Massage Haven for a wonderful Valentines Day deal. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the facility, staff and treatment.
Already have recommended Massage Haven to a friend.
We did a 90 minute, deep tissue massage and left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Finally a massage place where 1 hour massage does not mean 50 minutes!
If you are looking for a massage place with glitz and glamor then this isn’t the place for you. But if you are looking for a place to get a good massage for a reasonable price then this is definitely what you’ve been searching for.

This place Is great, had a massage by Katie and it was one of the best massages I have had. Price is very reasonable and they give you a full 60 minutes. Even went over by a few minutes and it was no big deal. I have been here three times now in the past two months and had great experiences every time. Staff is very nice and got me an appointment on short notice because they have people on call. Highly recommend checking it out.

I’ve went to Massage Haven about half a dozen times now and have been very happy with every massage from a variety of their masseuses. It’s a small quiet place that’s clean and relaxing. One of their motto’s is «Last time we checked an hour was 60 minutes not 50 minutes». Definitely check this place out! (Especially versus any chain /​franchised establishments.)

I have been going to Massage Haven since it first opened years ago. I can’t get myself to ever go anywhere else because the massages are that good. John Adams is the owner and the masseuse I have used all that time. He is also the owner of the school of massage next door and therefore really knows his stuff. From your fingers to your toes nothing is overlooked… whether your stressed out or injured he knows what you need and does it. Prices are great and you get a full hour plus. I urge everyone I know to go to Massage Haven.

I love a good Massage. 99% of it is the expertise (you hope) of the person giving you the massage and 1% is where I’m having it. Now, if I was at the Borgata or Water Club, the ratio changes because I’m paying extra for where I’m having it and I“ve never had a bad massage there. This is my 2^nd time at Massage Haven which was originally called Body, Mind and Spa I believe but it’s the same location. The outside is non descript but the inside is clean and pleasant with light airy music playing. I worked with Lisa last time and she is very good and attentive to finding out what hurts and would focus on it. They aren’t in a rush to get you out so a sixty minute massage means just that plus a few minutes if needed. This time around I worked with Johnny Adams who is the owner. As I’m talking to Johnny, he reads my name off the patient sheet and goes I know you. How (I didn’t put two and two together at the moment)? You used to date my aunt. Well, that was 20 years ago just before I met Deb and this guy has some memory because I only meet him a few times. But he was a nice guy back then and more then nice this time around. Turns out he is the owner and also owns the school for massage next door. He is also an Expert at what he does. If you are thinking of getting a licence for this type of work (and it’s hard, I’m sure), Mr. Adams school is probably the place to start. Johnny did a 100% perfect job finding my aches and pains and trying to remove them. He found a ton of knots and sore muscles. I sit most of the day for work or I’m lifting heavy boxes and printers and he worked from head to toe finding what hurt. I left feeling better at what I’d consider a fair price for the service (I know what it cost in Ocean County), and from the moment I walked in the door to when I left, I was treated as a VIP for his business and this was before he knew it was me. I look forward to going back and you can ask for either Lisa or Johnny by name and appointments are recommended.

Happy with my massage. I like that they give the full 60 minutes of massage unlike other places that only give you 50 minutes (plus 10 min dress/​undress time).
Doesn’t look like much from the outside, or even the lobby, but the massage rooms were roomy and have individual heaters in each room.
They seem to have a lot of specials running all the time. I bought my boyfriend and I a couple massages — -Two joint (1 hour) massages… for only $ 90. You don’t find deals like that around a lot.
