Most people don’t know this but the original owners sold the pizzeria about 3 years ago, the original owners were good pizza makers, but the new owner makes terrible pizza, /​food. And if you don’t believe me try the pizza yourself. You were warned.

We were regular customers for years under the old management. A few late, cold deliveries made us question our loyalty, but when they overcharged my debit card, gave me an attitude when I called about it, and refused to do anything to correct it, we were done. Never again.

Always visiting family in this area and this is definitely some of the best pizza around. Had plain/​pepperoni and onions with peppers. The crust is thin and crispy and the flavors were spot on.

Al’s is rock solid, and Al is a great guy. I grew up near his shop. It’s not the best pizza I’ve ever had, but it’s pretty damn good.

This review is limited only to home delivery, we don’t pickup or eat there.
Al’s has the best Pizza we have found in our area. The pies we get are always very good and most of the time great. It does look like different cooks make them slightly different but we never got a pie that we were not happy with. Fries are great and delivered in a bag so they don’t come soggy and everything else they delivery from Subs to Pasta has always been very good.
The delivery guys have been great also. Traffic from Al’s to our house can be horrible but our wait time has never been bad and the deliveries always come hot.

Was our fav place to order until tonight –when they told us they no longer deliver «this far»… REALLY? 2.2 miles is too far? Seriously disappointed!

Honestly, I don’t see all the hype. The pizza is just «ok» and their sandwiches are the same. Some of their specialty pies are really good but, again, nothing that other pizza places in TR don’t already make. Definitely not as good as Dario or Naples.

Al’s food, service, and staff can all be summed up in one word… OUTSTANDING!
The pizzeria I have been going to all my life. Its a very family friendly small «community» type pizzeria where everyone knows everyone.
I never been disappointed here. Totally worth 5 stars!

I thought, why not give this place a chance. I ordered 2 large pies and one both of the pies had tasted like it had old or rotten tomato sauce. I called and asked what sauce they used and said it was nasty. They refused to give a refund or at least make new pies. I WILL NEVER ORDER HERE AGAIN, SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE AND FOOD WAS HORRENDOUS!
