Great Monroe Co. BBQ! The pork shoulder is like no other in the world. Vinegar base sauce makes this a must try when in town! It is worth the drive!

Now this is the BBQ I was expecting from southern Kentucky. Anita is about the sweetest woman you will meet, and the pulled pork was some of the tastiest I’ve ever had. The ONLY reason I’m giving it 4 stars and not 5 is that it wasn’t open half the days I was in town so I could enjoy it more. I don’t know if I’ll ever make it back to these parts, but I’ll take some fond memories of this food with me.

If you’re looking for genuine, quality Southern BBQ, this is the place. I went with a group of three and we had the shoulder, pulled pork and chicken. All three were fantastic.
The mild sauce was very good and had a slight kick to it so I imagine the hot sauce was all bite.
All in all, I highly recommend this place and will return the next time I pass through.
