I used to go to this Kroger all the time now I don’t live by it anymore so I rarely go. I like this Kroger but I think the meat/seafood department is a bit small. There is rarly a line as they seem to always have enough cashiers working to cut wait time down… that is important to me!

This store is decent during the day, but coming after 9⁄10 at night greatly diminishes purchasing ability.(See pics below). The shelves are stocked poorly, they turn the lights to a minimum, and close all but the self-checkout. If you ask, they’ll open up a lane with a checker, but you have to ask. One side of the entrance doors are locked, but there is not a sign to let you know. You just have to walk up to the wrong door and realize it’s not opening. This isn’t the first time this has happened or I wouldn’t be posting about it. This review is several trips in the making. Will probably go to HEB from here on out.

I’m a Kroger’s shopper, this location by far is one of my favorite, it’s in such a convient area. There is a number of fast food resturants, stores, and Kroger’s gas pumps all within miles. Not to mention the store is never crowded, all though I must admit, I’m a early shopper. Cashiers and staff are always friendly and helpful, and to top it off Starbucks is inside on the premises.

I’m not sure where these other people that review this store shop or perhaps they are blind. If HEB were in a better location in Tomball it would outsell this place three to one. No carts in the store and they are all over in the parking lot. They replace brand names with their crud(Ozarka spring water, Simply Orange, Peanuts, and on and on). They do check you out fast but I think that is so you don’t change your mind and walk away.

I know there are lots of farmers markets out here, but farmers markets have farmers hours. I LOVE that there is a place out here that has a large organic selection, lots of natural foods and still has hours that I can work with. I just moved out here and have been to almost all the grocery stores, I was desperately seeking some organic food I can give my daughter and THIS is where Tomball hides it. If your eating poorly and the excuse is that your at work when the farmers markets are open consider this a great reason to eat better. Oh and who can resist the clearance aisle. I’ll defiantly be back for you my organic pop tart buddies.

Money saved on filling up my tank? That is reason enough to shop at K Roger. Looks like 100 grandmothers sat down to discuss the interior design? Like my granddad’s clothes: FANTASTIC. This is a grocery store that will put co-managers on a register just to keep the lines down and the customers happy. I have never encountered an unclean location, and the only stores with dirty bathrooms are off of the beltway. Meat and produce are fresh and well-stocked. Out o’ the Big Three(Wal-Mart, HEB, Kroger) this is my pick. Wal-Mart’s focus of carrying everything takes away from their focus of fresh groceries and HEB brings to mind a storehouse. HEB ~ please give your employees privacy. Why can I see into the back of the store? Can the workers not hide from the dreaded customer at all?

Its a typical grocery store. I would say all the meat is always fresh which is awesome. Canned and boxed items are the same so that doesn’t really matter much to me. The crew here is well trained for the most part, and effecient.

I love shopping here, I haven’t had a bad experience at this location so far since moving to Tomball two years ago. I recently entrusted the bakery with a pretty large task. I chose them to make my grandmas 75th birthday cake. I wasn’t going for the new style cake, like fondant and all the bells and whistles. I wanted a classic cake since it was my grandmother and I wanted it to match her style. I found a rose cake I wanted and decided to go classic. I instructed the lady at the bakery how I wanted it and she said they would make it very special for my grandmas big day. The day I went to pick it up I was shown the cake and I was soooo very happy with the outcome. It was made just how I wanted it and in the classic style I remember cakes to be in. After presenting it to my grandma on her big day, she was so ecstatic and thankful. I’m happy i picked this location for my grandmothers cake. The cake I chose was marble with whipped not buttercream frosting since my grandmother likes the whipped over buttercream. I strongly recommend Kroger for cakes if you are on a budget and need a well made cake.
