This place is nasty, dirty, chicken was terrible, buffet was not clean, staff did not clean tables after people leave, won’t be going there anymore

Second visit to hartz, and I’m still impressed with the buffet. We pulled up to the restaurant, and were concerned because no one else was there, that is never a good thing at a buffet. Even though we were the only customers inside for a while, most items were still hot and while not super fresh still very edible. The standout item on the buffet for me is the baked chicken. It’s fall apart tender and super tasty. Other items my family enjoyed are the chicken strips made with real white meat and very tender, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, rolls and cornbread. The kids finished out the meal with the soft serve ice cream. The only complaint I have about hartz, is that their fried chicken pieces lack flavor. The breading needs more spices or salt or something.

Decided to try their fried chicken last night. I only ordered the chicken. Was not impressed at all. The skin did not taste good at all. There was no seasoning whatsoever on the outside or inside. It all tasted very bland. Lots and lots of oil inside as well.
They do have some nice deals, but I’d rather go to other places.
