Walmart Supercenter

The name says it all. Never a good experience. Mike P… I know it’s a sh*t company and I shouldn’t bother rating it, but like everyone else, I like to give a rating based on experience at different stores. *Like your post… lol*

What is wrong with this place. There are 20 lanes with one or two open. The other day the lady was ringing up items that I had one of twice. Glad I was paying attention. Then she had an attitude because she had to void the transaction.
Then its annoying when you walk out the door they stop you each time to see your reciept. I did not steal anything. Get your stuff together.

This review is for the pharmacy. I had the pleasure of speaking with Ashlee who exemplified extraordinary customer service. I happen to have the worst sinuses on planet earth and she pointed me in the right direction explaining to me the steps I needed to take in order to not be sinus induced mouth breather for the rest of my life. Thanks again Ashlee for restoring my faith that there are still some good people out there!

Got some groceries here! was a good haul and found out… Walmart stocks perrier water! how chic.

Worst Walmart I have ever shopped at. Cashier forgot to take coupons off and when we had an item spill she just stood there with a dumb look on her face. Cashier was more interested in talking with coworkers.

Clearly nobody that works here cares. I am shocked at how terrible this place really is. The workers clearly stopped caring, just wow

Came in and bought more than expected but it was worth it! Got everything we needed and Art’s customer service was impeccable!

By no means do I have unconditional love for Walmart. In fact, I pretty much don’t like Walmart. BUT, I’m really not sure why so many people would use their valuable time to give Walmart a 1 star review.
After all, it’s Wally World we’re talking about here.

Take Walmart for what it obviously is. This place gets 3 stars ‘cuz it’s dirt cheap, and occasionally, you’ll find things that you need/​want.

HATE HATE HATE WALMART! And this store in particular. Forced to give 1 star, as no negative stars are offered. I can only get a particular item at this Walmart, and I stock up, so I only have to go once every 2 or 3 months. I can’t even believe the cashier waited for me to say «Thank you!» Shouldn’t they be thankful I shopped at their store.

I really dislike these huge stores, even the Targets of the world. They are just so overwhelming and I always get separated from my wife and end up spending more time looking for each other than anything else.
But, this was the one place we could go that we KNEW would have what we wanted. We were attending a Memorial Day party where the cheesiest/​most patriotic outfit would win a prize.
Cheesy, über-​patriotic, and super cheap. Walmart.

Employees are underpaid, downtrodden, and underappreciated, AND IT SHOWS. Lines of customers pile up with no urgency to open up new registers to get them out the door. Cashiers move at snail’s pace because there is no incentive to move faster. Associates generally have no idea what’s going on and who is supposed to go where. Poor management seeps into the morale of the lowly staff. They look like they’d like to throw themselves off a cliff or drown in the Maumee River.
⁸⁄₁₀ times I go to Walmart I want to stick bamboo needles under my fingernails, because even that sounds more pleasurable than experiencing a Toledo Walmart again.
Unfortunately, Walmart houses some of the lowest prices in town for everything. As soon as I make a decent salary, I’ll never step foot in a Walmart again.

Photo department is a waste of time, didn’t honor their quoted price and it took 14 days when they said it would take 3. Actually got yelled at for checking on photo cd’s because I came in before they called me, but it was a week after they said they’d be done. Will drive further to a Meijer next time!

This review is specifically for the BAKERY only.
Short version:
1. Customer Service could be better.
2. The bakery is limited in the types of cakes they can make (i.e. they only have sheet, 2 tiered cakes or set styles.)
3. They are limited in how they can decorate the cake. They couldn’t do the first couple pictures of cakes that I wanted.
4. Reasonable prices but you get what you pay for.
Long Version:
I had to order a cake for a shower and someone suggested Walmart because they offer round tiered cakes for a reasonable price. I’m not usually a fan of Walmart but we wanted a cake that was to be the centerpiece of a dessert table so the tiered cake seemed like a good fit and the price was cheap compared to other bakeries. (a 2 tier round cake was $ 48).
This location requires a 24 – 48 hour notice before the event to prepare the cake. This varies from each Walmart location– some required a week.
You prepay for the cake after placing the order. After I had placed the order, it turned out that we didn’t need that big of a cake so I spoke to the head of the bakery department. I explained that I only wanted a 1 layer round cake instead of a tiered round cake. She said to come in, get a refund for the cake that I purchased and put in another order for a different cake.
I went in that day that I had called and the whole ordeal was ridiculous. First I had to wait in line at the customer service desk for the return and of course the line was long and slow moving since there was only 1 person working the return desk. When I finally got to the front, it took forever for someone to get a hold of the bakery to confirm that I was allowed to return the cake. After finally returning the cake, I went to the bakery to reorder the cake that I wanted only to be told by the person helping me that there wasn’t enough time to make the cake for my party! I told her that the manager had told me to reorder the cake. After getting that straightened out so that I could get the cake in time for my event, I was told that the bakery doesn’t even make 1 layer round cakes at all! Why the heck didn’t the head of the bakery tell me that in the first place! I wouldn’t have wasted my time returning the cake and coming out to reorder something that they can’t even make! I had clearly told her on the phone that’s what I wanted so she should have told me at that time! After all that, I ended up reordering the cake I had just returned!
In terms of the final product, it didn’t turn out how I had asked. I wanted a turquoise border but they did teal instead. Even on their own coloring chart, it didn’t match what turquoise was supposed to be. Plus they put on edible sprinkles which I didn’t want. They ended up giving me a small discount because the color didn’t match.
I had picked up the cake on the day of my event and took it directly to the event. When we took the cake out of the box, the one side was lopsided! Luckily, it was just the one side so we were able to hid it in the backside. The cake worked out ok for our shower and I’m guessing the birthday cakes would be ok but I would not recommend their bakery for a wedding reception!

Definitely not a fan. I only go here when I absolutely cannot find what I need anywhere else. I’ll admit that the store typically has everything you would need. However, on my last trip there, the beer section was horrible stocked, with entire sections of brands with empty shelves. I’m not a fan of the atmosphere, or the amount of time it takes to check-​out. As a general rule, people are typically more rude in wal-​marts as well.
